You know Korey and Martin are like Ceasar and Koba arguing over humanity which is this movie!! XD That's hilarious!!

    Turns 6 today!
One of the best movies of 2014
The motion capture technology keeps improving
The politics of war are more complicated deciding if two species can co-exist or fight for survival and dominance
Matt Reeves takes the series to new leaps and bounds and Andy Serkis is still so perfect as Caesar
The human players are less interesting but it is the apes that keep things afloat

I'm with Korey. It was the best film i've seen this year along with Days of Future Past and The Winter Soldier.

Dawn of the Planet of the Apes turns 10!
Made $208.5 million domestically and $710 million worldwide
The movie still works being epic and intimate remarkably thanks to its CGI motion capture technology, a flawless performance by Andy Serkis, and its deep heavy themes about war, peace, co-existence, trust, militancy vs pacifism, the lines that could potentially break the pacts leading to major conflict, and political maneuvering
Lots of ethical and political issues abound too with challenging morals as well as allegory for how outsiders are treated
There’s even a line in here someone declaring the apes “They’re animals!”
It makes you think what makes us so different?
Everyone has a reason for being the way they are with conflicting views and our own experiences shaping us making the eventual devastation of war all the more difficult to witness

This reminds me of when I saw The Dark Knight with my friend and he got pissed at me because I said it was just "good" and not better than the 1st movie.
