Damn! This show! It really taps into my sense of nostalgia. The guys interviewed on the WTS were my childhood hero’s and because there was such an absence of media coverage for my chosen sport, they were all such a mystery to me. All we ever got was pictures in magazines and the rare race on tv. It’s wonderful to see them given so much time to discuss their careers and the races we only got to read about when we were kids. I love this show! These two riders were just two more huge hero’s of mine! Thank you WTS!!!🙏
Agree with everyone here. Ping your show is the stuff ! These old stories are the best. Such a great time to be young and into a sport that not everybody else was into. Billy Grossi was my favorite back then. Is Dick Miller of MXA still with us ?
Outdoor is King to me ( Northern California ) They are both controlled courses but in my opinion outdoor #1 .Tommy Croft read about you man when I was a teen .You made a impact on my generation seeing you and Marty kicking ass
@@EarthSurferUSA i remember reading some of the stories about Lackey battling Malherbe one year, probably 1979. Lackey was on a Kawasaki. Some serious bar banging and ramming. This was when the belgians were dominant in europe and they had no plans to give up the title easy...
I don’t know about your phone but mine I have to switch this from sucky 240 and select beautiful 1080p . Then the show is in great viewing capacity. Just a friendly reminder you can select 1080p were the 3 dots are in upper right hand corner 😉
Too bad you couldn't have included pics of Tomahawk on that blood red Honda from back in the day. Dude had style for miles! I remember watching him and Hannah race those buggies on cable back in the day, and Tommy would come out on top👍
Guy Cooper is the rider they should have kept in my mind. At the very end of the day it’s about selling bikes I would think. Guy Cooper sold Honda’s I would think. 🤷♂️
Roczen is a stud. Before he got hurt he was kicking butt on the out door tracks. He's made a strong come back. To mac needs to figure out the starts. Once he does, watch out.
How the hell do these guys not know about Terry Good and his International Motocross Museum opening in Chicago where there’s around 80 full works bikes to be displayed....
What a era to grow up idolizing guys like Tommy and Donnie. No show is even close to the whiskey throttle show!!
What a nice guy. Appreciate the interview with Tommy
Great interview! I was lucky enough to meet and get to know both of these guys through the vintage community. Great guys, lots of fun.

For sure, 70's best era of motocross.
Tommy is a true gentleman. I loved this episode.
Keep on bringing the 80's era racers on the show! Need to see bad Brad Lackey tell stories of racing against the europeans for a decade!

I saw Tommy win the second moto at the Unadilla Trans-AMA in 1977, my first pro race ever.

In the '80s when national pros did CMC races/series they had to run different numbers. Never saw them running their AMA number.
Excellent interview.
Ken Roczen is the only rider in history that Honda didn’t kick to the curb after a bad injury. They have stayed with him to their credit.
Pretty sure he had a injury clause in his contract. I think I heard his manager talking about it in a podcast

What about cole seeley?

Honda still has Hansen's 1982 HRC 250 as well as Bailey's 84 and Hannah's 85 works bikes
Made you breakfast this morning! haha nice one ping
Wow, what a nice man. You can tell he had really good parents. I bet Donny needs a few drinky poos to liven up.
How the hell do these guys not know about Terry Good and his International Motocross Museum opening in Chicago where there’s around 80 full works bikes to be displayed....
Terry Good would be a good guest
Our small band of MX brothers from the 70's-80's is anxiously awaiting to make the trek North to see the northern Illinois mecca.
Such a nice guy. He reminds me of Buddy Hackett though. Sounds just like him. Lol
1. (56) Tommy Croft...........HON
Invite only but come out and join us?? Mixed message there
Man, this is great having the moto heros from the 70s.
