Harvey is certainly one of the tragic villains of Gotham since Harvey Dent was the white knight of Gotham who cleaned up the city through the justice system. But alas tragedy struck Harvey causing his mind to shatter and became a criminal himself; "You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain".
"You make a monster out of us and then you hunt us down!" If I remember in _Batman Forever_, Batman tried to stop Maroni from throwing acid at Harvey's face, but was a few seconds too late. "So, how how's it hanging, Harv? Color me insensitive, but I've always wanted to ask: did EVERYTHING get split down the middle?" "Oh Bats, you just bring out the best in everyone! Your enemies, your friends - even your best frenemies like Harv, here: He's at least halfway interesting these days and it's all thanks to you." Man, Joker always knows when to push Harvey's buttons. At least in the story ending aftermath, Harvey can know that his best friend has never given up on him.
CheesyGranola Well, I remember it happening in _Detective Comics_ Vol. 1, issue 66: "The Crimes of Two-Face." As seen here: www.batman-online.com/features/1348924504_dc66.jpg
+CheesyGranola In "the Long Halloween" (Two Face's origin story), Batman wasn't there to stop Maroni from burning Harvey's face, as it was in a courtroom and Batman obviously couldn't just stand in that room, protecting Dent.
15:08 When I hear that quote everytime, my heart breaks as Harvey never wanted this life as a supervillain and he wanted to becout his misery. I always hope there’s still good in Dent. 😢
There is one thing they can't understand. Gotham can't be saved. They should be happy anyway because if they would have to fight with Winx villains then it would end bad for them.
***** To be honest and pardon my potential ignorance but...what can you really do with Two Face as a boss fight when he has no powers beyond leading a gang and having a gun?
Well that falls under personal opinion not fact. I myself didn't mind those especially when I managed to get accustomed to the bat mobile and could use it to pull off quick combos
Except for being horrifically scarred, Two-Face ain't any different from a normal person. He ain't got special powers. Just OCD about 2s and coin flips.
I find it really cool how it says if its two face talking, or harvey dent. Like when you talk to him in the cell, it will say in the subtitles if its harvey dent or two face. Pretty neat, his voice even becomes less menacing.
There is a way you can make this boss fight interesting. You can take out all the militia and leave Harvey for last. Then you can disrupt his gun and then fight him head on. I tried that and I really enjoyed it.
Two face is robbing a bank Alfred: perhaps mister dent has misplaced his coin Dang Harvey better watch out Alfred's coming to even dents face up with these burns
Two-Face is definitely one of my favorite Batman Villains. And TBH: I agree with him it's all Batman's fault. All of it. And yet he still persecutes Harvey and thinks it's not his fault.
I feel like when Two Face finds out about Bruce Wayne, he remembers Hugo Strange's comment on the hoth of them not being so different Batman then goes from the enemy he hates, to the rival he respects, Harvey even sympathises with Bruce about Good men not lasting long in Gotham, along with that "It's not the face you're born, it's the face you choose" line
Now this is more like it where Batman takes on Two-Face in an actual boss battle (sort of) unlike that joke tutorial in Arkham City. As for Two Face's Thugs, i think the ones in Arkham City were better cause they were following the split theme just like Two-Face.
They should've had Dent fight with him a bit when you try to stealth-takedown him. A few QTEs even, just something to remind us that he's above average as a fighter
Two-Face: Military training and boxe, trained at Kung Fu by Batman himself, defeated Killer Croc with his bare hands and helped defeat KGBeast. Two-Face in Arkhamverse: 🤡
Here's something I like and have noticed about about Two-Face especially in the Dark Knight trilogy is that his face after it got messed up he started looking like the Terminator whenever his skin burned off.

Can we just pay attention to how police literally just drove passed the Chinatown bank at 1:42 when it was getting robbed 😂
They’re busy chasing friggin rioters
Was probably busy with another crime
"You make a monster out of us and then you hunt us down!" If I remember in _Batman Forever_, Batman tried to stop Maroni from throwing acid at Harvey's face, but was a few seconds too late.
"So, how how's it hanging, Harv? Color me insensitive, but I've always wanted to ask: did EVERYTHING get split down the middle?"
"Oh Bats, you just bring out the best in everyone! Your enemies, your friends - even your best frenemies like Harv, here: He's at least halfway interesting these days and it's all thanks to you." Man, Joker always knows when to push Harvey's buttons.
At least in the story ending aftermath, Harvey can know that his best friend has never given up on him.
DarthWill3 I don't know if he tried to stop it in the comics. Batman Forever kind of did its own thing with Two-Face.
CheesyGranola
Well, I remember it happening in _Detective Comics_ Vol. 1, issue 66: "The Crimes of Two-Face." As seen here: www.batman-online.com/features/1348924504_dc66.jpg
Dark Knight movie is canon then, cause Harvey burnt his face when the gas was on his face. And when the building exploded his face caught on fire.
+Markus Viva The Dark Knight is not canon to this game or anything else but itself. If you remember, Dent died at the end of the Dark Knight.
I don’t mean becout, I meant end
15:19 Felt bad for Harvey here. You can tell in his voice that he genuinely believed that they (him, Batman, and Jim) would save Gotham.
There is one thing they can't understand. Gotham can't be saved. They should be happy anyway because if they would have to fight with Winx villains then it would end bad for them.
Dat Pyg quote to Two-Face
The best boss battles were (IMO) Penguin, Pyg, Riddler, and Deacon Blackfire (just boss battles where you had to defeat people)
I liked all of those plus two face and fire fly
Yeah ik but I liked them lol
Lucian Wong That two-face battle was best because batman did a fear takedown on two thug on midair.
Wow he took out Two-Face like an normal thug
Broken Dreams BECAUSE HES BATMAN!!
Except for being horrifically scarred, Two-Face ain't any different from a normal person. He ain't got special powers. Just OCD about 2s and coin flips.
@@cunningsmile4166 Well, it's not OCD so much as an intense obsession with halves & twos, and split personality disorder.
I was simplifying it for other fans who don't know the depth of the psychological damage
Fair enough
I like how the subtitles switch back and forth from Harvey Dent to Two-Face. Nice attention to detail Rocksteady
I like How the subtitles switch from Harvey dent to two face
15:50 i like how their making demands while their behind bars and to batman, if i was him i'd scare um for the fun of it😂
“Did everything get split down the middle?” 💀💀
I find it really cool how it says if its two face talking, or harvey dent. Like when you talk to him in the cell, it will say in the subtitles if its harvey dent or two face. Pretty neat, his voice even becomes less menacing.
There is a way you can make this boss fight interesting. You can take out all the militia and leave Harvey for last. Then you can disrupt his gun and then fight him head on. I tried that and I really enjoyed it.
You dropped that one thug like two stories if he didn’t die he’s definitely paralyzed
Ok, I'm convinced this guy actually is Batman.
20:00 One of the best Two-Face quotes.
Just found out Troy is his voice actor (joker from Arkham origins too), he did an amazing job again
Two face is robbing a bank
Alfred: perhaps mister dent has misplaced his coin
Dang Harvey better watch out Alfred's coming to even dents face up with these burns
16:21 Joker has amazing lines lol this was savage ngl
Batman: I'm sorry, Harvey.
Two-Face: I know.
Two face’s voice is so good, good job to his voice actor!
16:20 was Joker talking about Harveys junk? XD
+ComicPanel Pony Well Joker did say the question might be insensitive.
I had no clue there was different dialogue after Bruce is revealed. I’m gonna have to play this whole game again!
Two-Face is definitely one of my favorite Batman Villains. And TBH: I agree with him it's all Batman's fault. All of it. And yet he still persecutes Harvey and thinks it's not his fault.
While I don't put the blame on Batman, Dent is right in how he was basically abandoned by him. Batman's methods weren't working, Dents were
Didn't the incident with Harvey's face happened in a courtroom with Falcone and then he threw acid at Dent's face? (In the Arkham universe).
Rolyn Georges it’s not Batman's fault it’s Harvey dent fault for putting sal maroni in court
Harvey sure sounded friendly and sad if it comes to Bruce Wayne
Really good side mission
I feel like when Two Face finds out about Bruce Wayne, he remembers Hugo Strange's comment on the hoth of them not being so different
Batman then goes from the enemy he hates, to the rival he respects, Harvey even sympathises with Bruce about Good men not lasting long in Gotham, along with that "It's not the face you're born, it's the face you choose" line
His post story drive back conversation is really good
"It's not the face you're given, it's the face you choose" - Two-Face
What an amazing and tough boss fight he really had me on the ropes!!!!!!!
Did i watch a game or a movie, omg everything was so beautiful and perfect with no mistake. Man, what you did there is called BATMAN.
16:23 LMAO WOW. That's all the way up there with that Two-Face joke from the animated series.
Did everything get split in the middle?
That line killed me😂
Its cool how two face is actually in the final Robbery and you can actually take him down
Just realised Troy Baker voice acted both Joker and two-face in Arkham games
"I'll take care of you myself"
>brings an entire crew with him
I hacked Two-Face's shotgun to explode and snuck up behind him and popped out in front of him. Let's just say when he shot he became Full-Face. XD
Man, I feel bad for Harvey. Great dialogue.
Am I the only one who laughed when the two-face thug said "Your twice the man he is." or something like that.
