    You mix the vinegar and salt, then cut to using paint remover. Wtf?

      Sorry for the confusion, I used paint remover for all the paint, and salt & vinegar for removing rust
      I was actually not so happy with the salt & vinegar, it did not work as good as I hoped
      I also tried vinegar and baking soda, but no big success
      I ended up polishing most of the fasteners with steel brushes etc
