This is my rough interpretation from the clip: this patient suffered from 2 infected cysts. The first one that we saw appeared later; then he was referred to Thuy for treatment. The second one was popped prior to this treatment by one of his friends (who watched pimple popping on RUclips and thought of himself being able to remove “the sac”). His friend created such a big and infected entrance to the cyst with the sac left hanging out as we saw in the clip. Thuy was literally instructing her colleague how to take care of both lesions so that they would not be superinfected. She also told him that she could only squeeze out the infected blood to encourage regeneration as an urgent care, but he would need to go to the ER for further assessment. I am a physician. I give this woman 8/10 for what shes done with her expertise. Some comments here made me unease because the second one does not look like a skin cancer and was not caused by these two estheticians. The second abscess has hypergranulation tissue trying to cover over the top. That will actually prevent the epithelial cells from closing in from the edges of the wound by sending chemical signals to the surrounding tissue that tell the epithelial cells they aren’t needed. so it needs to be disrupted by removing it. You can do this in a few different ways; one is to put a temporary pressure dressing on it which will kill the new overgrown tissue where it can be cleaned away or you can use a scalpel to cut it away or silver nitrate stick to cauterize the hyper-granulation tissue. All of these things are usually done by a physician or a certified wound care nurse. On a side note, Hypergranulation tissue is highly vascularized and full of nerve endings and touching, cleaning or manipulating it usually causes excessive bleeding and a lot of pain for the patient. I performed a lot of complicated wound care management during my 35+years as an RN and also have had a severe wound ( minor amputation of the tip of one of my fingers close to the bone.) I went to the ER initially because I was concerned about just how close to boney tissue the wound was and that I might need preventative antibiotics and special dressings that I didn’t have at home. They initially placed a special high tech piece of dissolvable material on the wound that looked and felt like a sheet of flexible styrofoam. I took over dressing changes from there but after a week developed a pad of hyper-granulation tissue that I treated myself with a temporary pressure dressing. It ached and burned like hell for 24 hours until the tissue died along with the nerve fibers inhabiting it. Then happily when I did the dressing change the next day the devitalized tissue wiped away with saline moistened gauzes leaving a fresh healthy wound bed again. My finger healed rapidly from that point but didn’t fill in the amputated area. I guess I was hoping somehow it would regenerate like a lizards tail. I have a decided slant to,that fingertip and because the wound was so close to the bone my fingertip was very tender for about a year due to the loss of protective tissue/ muscle over the bone. Now I have this odd, soft pale white circle over that area that seems to be acting like a protective layer between my skin and the bone end and it doesn’t hurt to touch hard surfaces now. Different part of the world, different roles. From what I gather from native speakers in the comments, these spa's are more like clinics than nail bars
1. Buy a curette, cut the opening just a bit bigger. Disinfect the curette and put it inside the hole, scraping the sides. You will get the sac and the larger opening will allow you to remove the sac. A set of tweezers would help, too. I could cry, watching you squeeze, squeeze, squeeze! 2. OMG! Tell your client to go to the doctor for #2.
What you are telling them to do is considered minor surgery they shouldn't be doing that should be done by someone qualified to do it an MD or a PA not these bozos
I’ll give you a tip that worked on me: if you put the knife in, gently squeeze the skin and slowly pull the knife out, all the goop will come out mostly all at once. Just needs a clear open path. 👌
Oh my! The 1st one is a deep cyst that she hasn’t gotten out but the 2nd one is very concerning. This person needs a surgeon. That looks so very painful.
Hopefully the second one didn’t look like the first when it started. Definitely needs biopsy. I saw similar on a breast cancer patient without treatment, she had several eruptions like that second one! That never should have been touched in this situation much less squeezed! 🙏🏻
The second one is just blood, and I would be leaving that alone, looks like an ulcer. Bet it is very painful, cause a lot of bruising, to much squeezing, ridiculous
If anyone has a lesion that looks like the first one, I largely recommend the use of lasers instead of this traumatizing and painful procedure. What is seen is a sebaceous cyst that can be easily removed with a small laser incision (which will take out the sac preventing its reocurrence).
@@unndunn1 They should remain untouched then or be removed through a surgical incision by an expert, instead of being manipulated in a spa. This patient is more likely to scar from the trauma being put on his skin than the actual cyst.
After reading a lot of these comments, I am glad I am not the only person feeling bad for that person who is getting his guts squeezed out of him. This was just horrifying to watch.
Some people in different countries don't have medical care or money for treatments they go to the only place that close enough to help out, some are actually certified for it but with very little experience they'll only help you like this. Trust me I lived in a 3rd world country and couldn't afford the hospital bill that was more than my rent and food all together.
@@Chanel1-h8x6j I live in a first world country and don’t always have access to appropriate medical care or can afford it. I get to do a lot of my own care... I have some bills I will probably never pay off as well. A little every month...
I think that second one is the sac...Im sure this doctor would know if it is cancer or not and I doubt shed be going to town on it if she thought it was
Instead of scraping across the top of the cut, she needs to use a pair of tweezers to get that piece out. She is removing parts of the sack wall and would get more out if she used tweezers.
The first was a straight forward cyst which didn't to be mauled like she did. The Second lesion showed what appeared to be the remains of a necrotic sac from a cyst. What is not being said is that that 2nd vile looking one has been "worked on" it appears, at least once in the past and likely more times before, when it should have been referred to a doctor. As a retired Oncology, RN, the second one is "Highly Suspicious" for a more serious issue like cancer. When it is clear that there is no normal healing after the first time...back off and let the doctors step in. Any wound that will not heal is highly suspicious for cancer and cells should be looked at under a microscope and the wound biopsied. It's concerning that the tissue surrounding the second lesion never came together and healed after some sort of "treatment" perhaps in this same spa, but it appears that none of the margins began to heal, it actually looks like there are abnormal cells not following a normal pattern of healing inside the margins of the first lesion.
That is the first thing I thought.. this is a lesion that is not healing which could be indication of cancerous cells. This needs to be biopsied right away.
I have no healthcare experience and thought the same thing about both of these lesions. I think I'll no longer watch this sites videos as they obviously do more harm than good. I found a site where they really improve clients' skin.
This poor dude. First and foremost that HAD to HURT LIKE "the Dickens " (like my mom used to say) . All I knew was the 1st one was being milked for blood and when the sac came out that was all she wrote. But the 2nd one !! Good grief!! 🤯🤬🤯🤬🤯 . Although I worked for 16 years as a Customer service rep. in healthcare , I have no real health certification either ( although you do learn a ALOT ). Even I knew something was amiss. That cyclops had obviously been worked over real good already. The glop they pulled off first seemed to be what was spent from that wound. It was pretty clear that was the end of THAT chapter for that but nnoooooooo 😮 Itsa time fo the milkin' y'all !! Itsa bloodletting time !! smh Yikes.
Nothing normal in this video in my opinion. The first, an abscess. Never an abscess should never be squeezed, because of the risk of generalized infection. They need to be drained in a hospital. The second lesion, is a tumor and need biopsy. These people are inconsequential.
I wish Thuy would do a follow up and tell us how this man is. She’s a professional and knows what she’s doing but I can’t help but be concerned about the condition of the second one as we all are. If he needs further attention I’m hoping he will be able to get it.
No she doesnt know what shes doing obviously. Shes squeezing the hell out of lesion that should of be checked by medical professional. Did you see the soft tissue bruising she did? If its cancerous she just may have make it malignant .... its painful to watch.
She picks blackheads and pimples for a living she should not be cutting into the large cysts, she just ends up bruising them so bad and the sac is usually left behind, should be getting the sac out and having a dr to sew it back up and be put on anti-biotics
She makes a super small opening and then continues to squeeze and squeeze getting nothing but blood. You are gonna do more damage this way and won't be able to get it out completely or get the sack out. It's just gonna come back worse than before...
It is because she is not allowed to make an incision large enough that it needs to be sutured, as she is not a real doctor of course and you need medical training to suture. This is just more proof that she is not capable of helping this person, as they need a real doctor to get in there and get the problem out.
The thing was she stopped the video while she was still squeezing. I wonder how long that went on for. The problem with these spa workers is 5he believe that there is a core inside of everything and if the squeeze long and hard inough they'll get this out. AndvOMG the constant rubbing and tearing the outer layers of skin leaving large areas for secondary infection.

If anyone has a lesion that looks like the first one, I largely recommend the use of lasers instead of this traumatizing and painful procedure. What is seen is a sebaceous cyst that can be easily removed with a small laser incision (which will take out the sac preventing its reocurrence).

Just love it when it squirts and they gasp when they were not expecting it.
Yeah me too
that's what she said
The first was a straight forward cyst which didn't to be mauled like she did.
I’m no oncologist but that second one sure looked cancerous to me.
It was pretty clear that was the end of THAT chapter for that but nnoooooooo 😮
Itsa time fo the milkin' y'all !! Itsa bloodletting time !! smh Yikes.
What has kept it free of sepsis?
My God, everything's normal then it suddenly cuts to something that looks like a tumour! 😳
Nothing normal in this video in my opinion.
The first, an abscess. Never an abscess should never be squeezed, because of the risk of generalized infection. They need to be drained in a hospital.
The second lesion, is a tumor and need biopsy.
These people are inconsequential.
My daughter loves to do this to her brother or me she’s really good at doing this 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
I wish Thuy would do a follow up and tell us how this man is. She’s a professional and knows what she’s doing but I can’t help but be concerned about the condition of the second one as we all are. If he needs further attention I’m hoping he will be able to get it.
That second one most definitely needs a doctors evaluation!
No she doesnt know what shes doing obviously. Shes squeezing the hell out of lesion that should of be checked by medical professional. Did you see the soft tissue bruising she did? If its cancerous she just may have make it malignant .... its painful to watch.
She's esthetician. Not a DOCTOR. These things needs the REAL professionals--DOCTORS! She doesn't know what she's doing!!
She picks blackheads and pimples for a living she should not be cutting into the large cysts, she just ends up bruising them so bad and the sac is usually left behind, should be getting the sac out and having a dr to sew it back up and be put on anti-biotics
@@palacinkasmarmeladou FYI "cancerous and malignant" are one and the same thing.
