10 Engine overhaul - the crankshaft pulley

In this tenth video, we will show how to disassemble and reassemble the crankshaft pulley. We will use special tools for this, standard tools, as well as a homemade pulley puller.
If you don't have the right tools and use the right technique, chances are you will warp the crankshaft pulley, you really don't want that. So watch this video carefully before you start this job.

This video series is titled 'ENGLISH', but your narrator is giving torque values in 'Newton Meters'. Please present torque specifications in 'foot pounds.'

I understand your concern. You can use one of the many calculators online like www.thecalculatorsite.com/conversions/common/newton-meters-foot-pounds.php to convert Nm to Foot Pounds. We started in early videos to talk about mm and inches, but it was too much info and confusing, although this was the feedback. So, we had to make a choice. Many viewers in Europe watch the English version, but set captions to Spanish, Italian, German, ... they would be confused with Foot Pound, and we would get the same remark why not use Nm. We mention torque specs, but you need to check your manual, for your engine, to make sure about the torque settings.Thanks for your feedback.
