Willie from Youngstown Ohio. You are awesome, and work the old school way. Great job.
I watch your channel as well as a few others that do custom work and restoration and I have to say that you and Carter Auto Restyling do the most in depth welding and hammering tutorials that show how it can be done with very little if any filler when done. Awesome work! Not to take anything away from the other masters like Wray Shelin or some of the other master craftsmen too, but the time spent in explanation and technique are more entertaining I guess. At least for me.
Enjoy your videos and am learning a lot. A pleasure to watch you
Thats some mad skill you have there, not only in the work, but explaining whats going on as well. I appreciate you sharing with us. Btw, i adopted your welding technique from last video, really helped. Considering i have been backyard welding for 30 years, and its recently improved.
A most fine shop! Everything you need, nothing you don't!!!!! For this application!!!!!
Wow dude, that looks amazing! Nice!
Awesome work Karl! Pushing yourself to achieve a higher goal and teaching us along the way is a win-win. Your explanations are so clear and concise that even someone like me with little metal working experience can understand and learn. Thank you!
We love your show so much! Thanks for having the good music!
I watch a lot of hot rod fab channels. Karl's channel is the only one that go back and watch episodes over and over to really learn what he's teaching me
Thank you so much Karl. This is by far one of the best videos, if not the BEST videos you've made, Excellent work.
So glad I found your channel. I've never used tig for autobody on large panels. You gave me the information and confidence to repair the bedsides on my truck. Thank you! Subscribed!
Thank you you are continually improving my skills.
Great tech session !
Great videos need more I’m shore everyone is with me on this we love to see your work
So good to see someone humble and talking about wanting to learn off others! Wray schellins classes are also on my top list!
Crazy job as already...
Men ! you are a Superman !
Bruno from France
watching Karl execute each task, is watching hands of an artist ....👍✨
Karl, I love the way you make these techniques accessible to us. I'm not certain what exactly it is, but your tone and enthusiasm is just motivating. I have had several projects that I completed about ten years ago in my early 20's that I am now revisiting with some of the creative concepts you have shared here.
Rocking the bennets shirt. Love both your channels keep the videos coming
Even if I don’t understand everything, looking is already a joy. It’s art, you’re a perfectionist. I wish I could do 1/100 of your work. Thanks for the videos.
You're doing awesome, thanks! Also, thanks for talking about Wray. I owe that guy a lot. Honor thy teachers and all that, lol. Great work!
Excellent video very helpful. Thanks Karl.
Definitely some true craftsmanship
It’s coming along nicely. Fab On. Weld On. Keep Making. God Bless.
Metal working on a molecular level. Amazing. I wanted to say Karl that I like you jumping around on projects and content. Better than looking at one thing for weeks. Cheers
I’m glad you enjoy it some do some don’t lol
Good essential basics presented clearly. And great soundtrack as usual. Thanks.
A meticulous build. Your restoration is an engineering feat. Thanks for sharing!

Great to see you back on the Zephyr; been watching Bello Kustoms - Mike just started a '37 Zephyr that is now a two door and getting maximum slam. Yours is is going to be amazing!
Freekin' amazing. Just amazing.
Fitment meens everything, more time spent on the joints tight makes less work Welding and a bunch on grinding and finishing for sure. Great tutorial as usual.
I was glued to this production. Your knowledge, hands and tools sure work well together. Thank you Karl. You are truly in a league of your own. You know what you want and do it all your way.
Your first person who hammers his tacks like my grandfather taught me. Only he would sometimes put small dimple, fill and hammer till panel fit. He claimed the small dimples were easier to feel with dolly and added stiffness. But we didn't have disc shrinker either. Amazing how you flow the metal on large panels
I love Christina’s taste in music. Her editing skills match your metal working skills. It all results in beauty!
Yeah both do such a awesome job 😁😁😁😁
Karl! You never fail to surprise. Enjoyed it.
Great video, Thank you.😊😊
Karl you are my hero! Thank you for your content once again you bring what you do to a level that I completely understand. I have been a builder myself for a long time but has always been by the school of hard knocks instead of being taught. I have many gifted friends who can do the work, but struggle to explain what is actually happening with the metal. When you do the work somehow you can make it so that in my minds eye I can envision exactly what the metal is doing. I am really ready to get back in the garage. Thank you again for sharing your gift.
I’m so grateful that information comes across clear! Basically, my whole purpose lol I had such a struggle learning myself that knowing the information comes across easily is amazing
I’m amazed at what you do have sculpt the metal I wished I could learn from you how to do this it’s amazing
Love your channel Karl i have recently done a class with your friend Christian Sosa in Sydney Australia
appreciate you sharing your knowledge and skills . i look after a private collection that has 6 zephyrs
inc stock 39 convertables to custom coupes .
You've done an outstanding job making those panels and finishing out the welds!!! Thanks for the lesson!
You both do good quality work..
I know that it's not possible to make videos to show the whole long drawn out process... But I am the guy truly loves seeing All that..... I really appreciate what you share though...it's awesome 😎 Thanks. That makes sense.... following the panel All the way down and trusting your cut... it's going to be straight and no wrinkles so to speak.... thanks again 😎
Thanks. Really helped pull it together for me.
Two words: "BRAVO MAESTRO"

You need a thumb trigger ! big time lol. I was hesitant to use one at first, and it did take a little while to get use to it but now I can't live without it.

One of the channels I'll endure the ads to make sure the creator gets the full monetization. He deserves every cent for his time and talent he is giving us.
Thanks so much, Mike I appreciate that! Hope you had a great week!

Cool video again! That marker trick with shrinking disc was new to me. Thanks for showing this stuff to us!

very impressive work!
Great lesson, thanks
Next Level!!
Really nice!!!!
Excellent!
Great job sir.
Hey bud, I'm a fabricator at Coachwerks Restorations. A little tip you may like to try while tacking your panels; we use a 1" drywall mud knife about 10" from your tack to keep a gap and alignment. It still shrinks but not as bad. At the same time, hammer dolly the tacks as you go along. Not much, one or two taps just to relax the shrink. What will help with shrinking and alignment as well is keeping tacks on a lower amp, and tighter together. I'd say 1/2" between tacks. Three or four tacks, hammer dolly lightly. Once your tacks are done, there's more rigidity for the full welds and less shrinkage. I don't do any more than 2" welds, if you can move fast on a low amp. Again, hammer dolly those welds as you go along, nice and light. Hope this helps. Keep up the good work.
Yep. Tack N Tap👍
Thanks for your insight man! Appreciate your knowledge
Truly work of an artist and what a result! Really appreciate your explanations which make perfect sense and also self knowledge that you still have stuff to learn from others!
This is like magic, really awsome work. Keep it up :D and greetings from Estonia :D
Great work making those welds disappear! I have had Wrays shrinking disk for a while now, and can confirm it's an amazing tool!
