@@nano7586 The specific furniture to buy, yes. But the general advice like having multi-use tables/seating? No, it doesn’t have to be exorbitant. You can buy many of them fairly cheap at yard sales…
My favorite lighting source (after natural) are lamps! I’ve never been a big fan of bright overhead lights (headaches), and a nice lamp or two has always done the trick for me!
You’re space is truly inspiring! ❤ I ask though, would you recommend a few places or stores to visit? I’m starting to like wondering outside common retailers.
That coffee table - if anyone sits on one side (you can't be following one's guests around to stop them), the other side will flip up land throw everything into the air. This is because of where the table legs are positioned.
These things can absolutely be worked out on a dirt cheap budget too. I've lived in cars more often than not for over 10 years, and most of what I've remodeled my current truck with is stuff I've found littered or thrown out or occasionally at thrift stores, but most of this video still applies to me -- just in adapted ways. One doesn't have to have lots of disposable income to make one's space pleasantly livable
All the things you didn’t mention in your living room are what makes it great lol. Put what you mentioned into a box room and you have any average living room.
Flexible seating is my must have! I have a couch, a beanbag, a rolling desk chair, a backless rolling chair, a moon seat, some dining chairs, a folding picnic chair, a yoga ball, floor cushions, and a foldout gym mat that i use to lay down on or fold into a floor chair. I am one of those ADHDers who cant sit in the same position for long and physically cannot sit in the same seat for more than two hours straight so im constantly spot hopping, this was essential for me
That's why I love trays with raised edges! They keep little things secure in one designated spot, which reduces visual noise and makes finding the items and cleaning the area much easier.
Yeah , furniture with gaps are annoying ( even if you're willing to spend extra money on fancy trays and such so hopefully nothing will fall through a gap. )
I know, right 😂? Especially when one of the "essentials" are basic ass looking beigey ikea evoking *stools*. No shade (or not too much anyway), I love his eye for neutral decor and love his videos but I may just be responding to his stunning windows focal point and layout 😂❤❤❤❤. But still, I don't wanna be too snarky 😚 😘
@@justynawisniewska1213 are you acting dumb on purpose or are you always like this? There's a fucking difference between sitting with your face facing the screen and with the side of your face facing the screen. There's also a difference of feeling between legs up on a couch and up on a stool.
Omg!!! Those WINDOWS AND THE HEIGHT OF YOUR CEILING with those windows!!!!! I'm sooooo jealous!!!!! Lol My favorite are (I think they're called) microfeece? Or microfiber blankets :). Superrrrrrr soft (like the underside of your blanket;) But to each their own!
Are you also jealous of the brick wall that's like 6 feet from them? such a waste lol But if that were just a wall then the space would definitely feel way way worse
I was going to comment a joke about "ANY space? My house is a Ford Explorer lol" but actually these are more applicable than I expected XD Lighting is especially huge for carlife; I have a solar setup, so I can comfortably power small fans and plenty of nice efficient LED lamps, and there's something really comforting about having the whole inside lit up with nice warm lighting when I'm hanging out at night. I generally leave them on when I walk my dogs, so that when I come back and open the door and raise my curtain, it feels like coming back home to a proper house. And yeah, tables, any table -- never take for granted the luxury of having LEVEL SURFACES TO PUT THINGS ON! Anyone who's lived in cars or hilly campsites for any substantial period can attest to this lol. If anyone out there is embarking on carlife, trust me, prioritize some sort of level surface on which to put things, right after making sure you can sleep comfortably and before just about anything else.
I miss having my very functional coffee table 😂 My daughter just turned 1 & she's learning to walk, which means anything she can reach on the coffee table is fair game! One day I'll have the living room of my dreams, but for the next few years, its all got to be bare & free of any choking hazards 😅
None of this is ESSENTIAL, but it is nice to have if you can afford it. I just don’t like clutter, so I can live without all the extras that influencers have made “essential”.
All that natural light you have is the best thing for any living space.

A stool and lamps?😂

What a great place!
Yes, gosh, pleasant lighting is what sets a vibe to me.
Everything is aesthetically pleasing, even the man. ❤

Wao so beautiful
This space is a vibe! I’m loving it 😍
A bench as coffee table rocks
Love having a huge window just to see the bricks (this actually feels so grounding and I love these thin bricks tbh ngl
beautiful place!!!!
Stackable stools are so smart. I’m claustrophobic too and turns out I don’t like weighted blankets
Your place is soooo nicely decorated and cozy! Do you live alone?
I love, your space

Love the videos! Where did you get your sofas? What models are they? Thanks 😊
When did you realise you want to create space of your own? Your style of home is superb ❤❤❤

How high is the ceiling 20 feet, good grief that place is huge and the windows are amazing
ur aesthetic, i cant explain it but it gives me japanese anime with the light coloured natural toned wood. im obsessed with it.
i love the vibes of this place woaa, what's the style called? hmm nordic?
Where did that cream colored lounge chair with the ottoman come from?!?!?? I need it 💛

What would you recommend to cover that brick wall view?

I need to look up where to get a bottle I don’t have one yet!
The most essential thing though is to have the said living-room 😂
Awesome!!
As a dude who lives in Texas, just watching this short makes me feel wayy too hot 😥
I want to copy your whole living room
I’m a simple man. Just need 2 things. A couch to sit on. A television to watch. My wife and kids are more sensible.
What the fuck!!?! That space is heaven!
What coffee table is that?
Wait we haven’t broken up everyone he’s the owner and many others from New York etc it’s Chris Ben Wolff
Where can I get those stools??
Top of the top are cats 🐈!
And a coffee table with holes in it is essentiell?
🤩👍
I noticed that large window and a all covering brick wall outside the window what is the actual use of that big window
Yeah yeah, but where the cats at?
If someone invited me over and gave me a stool to sit on I wouldn't stay for more than 10min - good life hack if u don't want people around ig

That’s not a living room, that’s a waiting area.
The banana or bird of paradise plant in the corner. Is it real or faux?
Number 6 a brick wall outside your window 😂
You didn't talk about the plants!!!😢
Not a coffee table-it’s a bench -far more used l than a coffee table!

Windows but the view is just a wall...not great for a nice living room

Such a great window with a view of a brick wall. Aww... 🥹

Well better then people having windows and balcony on the other side tbh. 😅
