I actually like where Pumpkin Night goes. I think that's because I see it as a slasher parody though, and so many slasher film sequels become like that. I do prefer the beginning though.
Ah, didn't know you already coverd Fire Punch. Here are some recomendations: - Holy land (Fighting manga with great charecters) - Vinland saga (Best manga of all time) - Dorohedoro (Mystery manga with great worldbuilding and art) - Blame! (Also a great mystery with great worldbuilding) I liked your character analysis on Felix and would love to se more videos of that kind, keep up the great work!
Love how you used Uncle Ruckus's theme when talking about not recommending Made In Abyss, that's the vibe I feel when others ask if i recommend it lol. I feel like with most MiA fans, we know we really can't recommend this manga, esepcially not to everyone. Cause it does get get creepy, even just in the extra artworks between the chapters. Which is a shame cause the story is intriguing. On the bright side, the anime tones down the creep factor. I don't know what you mean for Cursed Manga, but I'd recommend Uzumaki by Junji Ito, Golden Kamui, and Tako-pi's Original Sin
I know what you mean! I feel that so many good manga succumb to the issue of gross imagery 😔Thank you for your recommendations, I will be sure to check them out!
When you say creepy is it kids getting deleted 6:11 like Drifting Classroom or creepy like being made victims/ tortured/assaulted? Like you guys I’m not really into seeing kids getting harmed/ unless it’s referenced offscreen in a war setting. I can’t even watch Pet Cemetery; I guess too realistic. Probably better to pass on the manga
if ur into psycholigical stuff i would highly reccomend No Longer Human ( a short manga by usumaru furuya) Back When We Called Us Devils ( it's criminally underrated ) they have some disturbing elemnts for sure, if u really want fucked up surreal shit to read u should check Nishikoka Kyoudai's works i would highly reccomend "Kami no Kodomo "
@@SimplyFwox there's also Crime and Punishement: a falsified romance an adapation of dystovesky's famous novel in a modern japanese setting..it's a good read too
Yoo, thank you for doing my suggestions. The drop off in Pumpkin Night is really disappointing cause you know the author can do better. If you want to watch something that's generally more funny and lighthearted, I recommend Golden Kamuy. It has its dark and emotional moments, but it's nothing too heavy. It's got mystery elements but is mostly focused on the characters and their adventure. Some people say the manga's better, but I still enjoy the anime.
I found the Pumpkin Night plot to be confusing as well. I think that Pumpkin Night was real for the majority of the story, but there are some instances where I really just don't know.
If I were to recommend a cursed manga that’s kinda niche it would be Zanuff the Butcher, and Murcuelago.

The pumpkin night plot kinda confuses me , is the pumpkin night actually real? Or are they just op traumatized characters?
