I'm a big fan of a Litchi Hikari club!
The story has a rich history and the overall the plot is pretty silly. I like to count this piece of media as a dark humourous one.

The bonus stories at the end makes it even funnier..

ive been into litchi hikari club for a few years and it truly is one of my favourite mangas. i really enjoy watching the mini anime, movie, stageplay and musical as well, but of course we cant forget about the prequel [bokura no hikari club] and the side comics. usamaru furuyas art is such an inspiration to me♨♨

Glad to see litchi hikari club fans here!! I read it in 2017 and still obsessed with it. It's just the right amount of what the fuck. I just found out that it was based on a play in 1985 and that there was no footage left of it (there is a clip of it but the title is in Japanese). It's insane and i love it

Jigoku no alice is really good. I highly recommend it if you don't mind the sensitive topics

@@SimplyFwox If you like it you should read other works by the same author like freesia. I actually read freesia few months ago but only stumbled across jigoku no alice today. They are eerily similar

A great reading list for October, thanks for the upload ^^
I was surprised to see Happy Sugar Life was that popular lol
Also I heard Made In Abyss can get very unsettling, I'm planning to give it a read soon

Objectively speaking the most disturbing manga is basically any guro hentai out there

  • @sickntired7459

It's more gory than disturbing, especially in later chapters, but Pumpkin Night is one of the popular ones I've read. Though the storytelling does take a dive into the absurd and straight up bad later in the manga, it still holds a place in my heart.
Also The Laughing Vampire. I read it a while ago but some of the panels still stick with me.
Btw I appreciate the random memes and light-hearted parts you throw in, it's a nice break from all the fucked up stuff lmao.

Pumpkin night used to be good... I just stopped reading after the boy (?) became the pumpkin. Doesn't make any sense

    • @sickntired7459

@@nickirkland1347 As scuffed as it was I personally enjoyed that part. (If you mean when Kazuya took over the Pumpkin Night identity). I thought it was cool, imagining pumpkin night not as a singular person but a state of being anyone could be when pushed hard enough. That might just be me making it more than it really was.
But I have to agree the rest doesn't make sense afterward and just becomes absurd. A shame, too, considering the plot was solid enough. It's just super bloated now.

One of my favorite manga is called Fire Punch and is made by the same author as Chainsawman and you could say its quite disturbing.

My favorite manga of all time. It's funny as hell too, which makes the depressing shit that much more impractical imho. +1

I'll come back with more but this is what came to mind first. It was hard to read since no one wanted to finish translating the second chapter

So you are looking for disturbing manga but basically don’t like disturbing material, don’t really like horror, and have to moralize about how disturbing manga utilizes disturbing elements… keep up the great work 👎

Yeah that is what is keeping me from supporting this channel all the way as well. It's just a tad bit confusing how he judges a few similar mangas sondifferently as well.
But oh well. It might be a preference thing maybe idk. But I shouldnt act like me leaving this channel will ruin it or anything. Im sure he'll do good without the pro-nuance audience.
All in all the creator of the videos really has potential dont get me wrong, but thats kinda it really. Nothing in the reviews themselves is of that much value other than the manga recommendations.
