the theIsland folder didn't exist after start the .bat and when i start the scorched it say that the ShooterGameServer.exe didn't exist. but it is there.
so I am using linuxgsm I set a clusterid when trying to transfer it shows other servers but not my clustered server. ports are forwarded and set in config to allow transfer.
my servers appear, and they do appear in obselisks, and I can join them. But when I get there, I click "Spawn survivor" and it takes me to the new character screen instead. When I leave and rejoin my main server it allows me to download the survivor I tried to transfer to my other server but this won't work for my new server.
I swear when i first saw 1 of ur vids i though u would have around the same amount of subs as Syntac. You deserve it bro, after having seen ur series with the explorer notes voice overed and the explanations of aberration and scorched earth i really think you do deserve 500k+ subs bro. Hi noodle I know this is so late but I have a problem so I’m hosting my cluster only in my local access network no port forwarding just want to play securely and the cluster are not showing up in the transfer slot even though I have the slot ready to go but the servers are not showing up any suggestions
I did this, we can see the other server when clicking "Travel to another server", but then the "join with survivor" button is greyed out when selecting the server. I have no idea why, Google wasn't very helpful.
at 7:16 mins, you have different batch files running in same folder, sharing same game.ini and gameusersettings. how do you Rcon connect to for example center server?. becasue rcon port is defined in gameusersettings.ini. so technically all servers have same Rcon port.

Does anyone know if you can open and close servers in the cluster while playing? Example, I’m running The Island and Scorched alone and I want to go to Aberration. While I’m on The Island, can I close Scorched Earth then open Aberration? Or would I have to leave the game for it to update?
I know this vid is a tad bit old, but I'm having some issues with my clusters. I've had my server up for a bit, everything is working and set up correctly, but I wanted to add some clusters. Everything seems to be as it should, its port forwarded, there is a cluster-ID, and I set up alt directories for the maps. However, every time I try and join one of my clusters, I get a time-out message and cannot join, advice would be very appreciated.
I assume you've worked this out by now, but anyhow; Set Difficulty Level to 6. for servers, in the \config\WindowsServer\GameUserSettings.ini in the [ServerSettings] block OverrideOfficialDifficulty=6.000000

Thx for the tuto! I have a problem though.. I can see all my servers when i want to transfer to another map however i get a timeout every single time. I the have to join back the server i wanted to travel to and i get my player back. Has anyone dealt with that timeout issu and how to fix it?
Might be late to send a reply here but.. Im following your guide and my maps show up and all have the same cluster id, but when I go to a lot drop etc, it will show transfer to another map, but when I click on it, no sessions are found for my maps. what is it that I could be missing?
I did everything that is put in this video, I’m having acouple issues, first issue is i don’t see the servers on the upload in game, i see it on server list but not in game, it keeps filtering back to unofficial, do i need to do NATloopback? My router doesn’t support it so I’m guessing I’d have to buy one that does another issue is when i upload a survivor and then go to my cluster maps it doesn’t show up is that just because it’s a completely different map or a cluster of maps?

For those of who has no servers show up; The reason is because your router currently isnt allowing NAT Loopback as Neddy stated in his video. The soloution is rather simple: 1. - Press Windows key + R - enter "hdwwiz" without the quatation marks. - Click next in the following window, then select the second option. "Install the hardware that i manually select from a list (Advanced)". - From the list, select "Network adapters" and click next again. - Under the "Manufacturer" tab, select Microsoft, then on the "Model" tab, scroll down and find "Microsoft xxx Loopback Adapter", without the Xs. - Click next and allow it to install. 2. - Now press Windows key + R again, but this time enter "ncpa.cpl". - In this window you will find your Network Adapters, and your most recently added adapter "Microsoft xxx Loopback Adapter". - Right click the new one, and select properties. - Double click "internet Protocol Version 4..." - Select "Use the following IP address:". !!- find out what your public IP is, NOT "ipconfig" in CMD!! Use whatsmyip(.)com or similar. - Copy your public IP, and write it down under "Ip address". - Leave the rest of the fields blank, and click next. - It will then warn you Subnet mask is missing, click next again and one will automatically be assigned. Youre done! You can now enjoy transferring without issues :)

Was there a section in your guides that goes over windows firewall settings? Had an issue with getting servers to populate in the transfer menu in game so I checked out the setup wiki. The firewall settings related to port forwarding are slightly unclear.

I assume windows? 10th gen i7? 32 gb ram? 10 person limit? How much storage space and what type? Will a 2tb mechanical drive work? Or 1tb ssd of some sort? Thanks again for the video

@@yoink8509 Apparently it's a problem with your port forwarding, be sure to check it again if there is something wrong with it then change it to something available. If this still doesn't work I found a trick without using the obelisk, just go to where your steam folder is then go to steamapps\common\ARK\ShooterGame\Saved then click on the SavedArksLocal folder, in here you must know your SteamID64 you can search on how to find it it's just easy then if you found out your steamID64 you can now copy\cut the "PROFILEBAK" file and the "ARKPROFILE" file with your steamID64 as name then paste it on your steamcmd folder on the same location. This will transfer your character to your desired map and this will also keep your leveled up implant if you are worried about it, you can also do the same for your friend's profiles you just need to know their steamID64, if you want to transfer your tribe data juts transfer the "ARKTRIBE" and "TRIBEBAK" files, and if you want to transfer items from the obelisk that you want to transfer to another ark.. just transfer "ARKTRIBUTETRIBE" files with your steamID64 as filename do the same for your friends tributes and that's all I can share to you. I hope this works for you.
I have a PC and if I set up a cluster on it can I also play on the same machine? Or does the servers need to be on a different PC? I hate single player and the limitations with traveling to other servers ( have to upload character first, upload items, etc.). It would be nice to play on the same machine and just launch the server I want to travel to and once I travel back I can stop the one not used (to free up ram). Is that possible?

Hmmmmm, this is interesting… Is there a chance you could maybe make a newer tutorial that takes into account EPIC Games Store players? We don’t have access to mods of course, and we sometimes have difficulties joining servers, since we can’t do a direct connect like how you showed there through Steam. If not no worries, I’m just curious as to how to make server clusters so this video has proven to be very helpful!

i thought you couldn't play a cluster if it's hosted on the same machine you are playing on.

That's my survivor's implant which has ascended on every map you can ascend on. (The Island, Aberration, Extinction, Genesis Pt. 1)
