bought this album in 2005 and fell in love with it. Every track is fire.

Their early works are good in their own right as well. Very raw. Been a fan since the beginning.

Nice request... this is one that I wanted to recommend (all the MMJ Letterman performances are 🔥). So happy this channel attracts so many awesome, like minded people! The orchestra gave this song a more laid back vibe than their typical performance... I've heard many other versions that were killer in tone/energy.

yes!!! my request! :) this performance blew me away and had to share. Jim James gives it 100%. the conductor’s face at 4:13 says it all! glad you liked it Teez!

David Letterman always had the best musical artists on. He's had Tom Waits on at least twice, Phish, Ween, Bob Dylan, Warren Zevon.........

Fantastic performance. Letterman gave bands a great stage to play. God, I miss Dave. *sigh*

I always thought it was awesome that it's the same stage The Beatles made their American debut on... so much history in that room.

@@RraMakutsi I got to attend a taping there once. It really was an amazing space. The musical guest when I went was Darius Rucker, and he sounded so great. It’s just a special space. 💜
