“One Big Holiday” live at Bonaroo is a must.
Amazing song and performance, this is a song of pain and healing and there's a pretty cool story behind it, it was written in honor of a childhood friend of Jim James (Singer) who took his own life, and Jim said he had a dream where he saw his friend in heaven and being ok. I remember a comment on that video that said "It's like the song itself is crying" which I've always found quite appropriate.

Dondante is about a young friend of the lead singer, Jim James (amazing solo catalog also), that passed away when they were kids. It’s a very deep and emotional song for him and he tells it on Storytellers.
My wife and I took our honeymoon before our wedding so we can go to the first One Big Holiday at the Hard Rock Hotel in Mexico back in 2014. They headlined the event and played three of the four nights. One of my fondest memories. At the end of them playing Dondante when Jim does his solo, he walked to the back of the stage where you couldn’t see him, facing the ocean so he could play for just his friend. (Side note, Bob Weir played the week before but stayed to play with MMJ on their opening night).
MMJ was also featured for an entire episode of American Dad (Family Guy sort of spinoff). It was called “My Morning Straight Jacket”. They have a deep catalog. But I think their best album is the one that came out just a few months ago. Check it.

All of their songs are amazing, I don't think they even have a bad song at all.
I mean highly suspicious is kind of meh lol … but agreed on just about every other song being good to great.

I don't really like that song but it's definitely not a bad song. There's some really good shit within that song. Love the energy and the soloing. the riffs are pretty dope too. But yeah, bottom tier Jacket song for me haha@@frontrowrecordings
