Happy Easter, thanks for watching and be kind to one another out there! ✌️
This channel is so underrated and deserves a larger audience! If you could do a review of the new Dreo Polyfan 715s that would be awesome. On paper the 704s looks like a better buy but the 715s has an interesting blade design that could lead to a significant user experience improvement (in terms of sound), hence the extra $50 for the 715s. I would love to see your review though :)
Edit: I noticed another interesting mention about the 715s; Dreo markets the 715s as having “21ft/s” of max air movement (rate), directly translated to CFM it’s around 1200 more than the 704s’ 900. The reach is a bit short at 100ft vs the 704s’ 110ft. All the more reason that these two products would make for an interesting comparison.
Appreciate the props, Vivian! I'll ask my rep for a 715 and who knows? 😁 Thanks so much for watching and please reshare this channel!
Very good video, for such a small channel the content quality is right up there. Watching from NZ.
Cheers, mate! Thanks for checking this out -- there'll be new content every week 😎
I just got an 513 and it's FAN-tastic the best fan I've had really moves air and to be able to limit the oscillating is great let alone the vertical oscillation best fan ever
Thanks for sharing your experience here, Brian!
Excellent review. Thank you.
Thank you for watching! Hope you found it useful. 😁
I like your review, and I used your link.
I just ordered the 513S and will be arriving in 2 days. I was torn between the 513S and the 704S( or 714S here , I think it's the same)
Yes seems these are popular as I saw someone carrying one of these in their door yesterday in a big long box with DREO written on the side.
I wish I saw this video sooner..I knew about the oscillation degree differences and slight power difference. But you made a great point regarding the manual
controls on the 513S will be a moving target when it's on and oscillating and the handle on the 704S should be quite handy. I do like the dark grey color with the
faux leather accent of the 513S and it was on a slight discount of $125.99 ...I'd probably choose the 704S for $10 more instead of $24 more. Also I like that
the "bezel" on the fan head is thinner on the 704S...it looks more elegant. The power cord is also better on the 704S ,it looks better and is harder to trip over it(some tape should help though),'
it also has a remote holder. Then the 513S is a bit quieter for what it's worth, I don't know if I should change my order as there is still time to cancel...IDK....
Thanks for your comment! Did you ever change your mind with the 513?
@@TheNonTechieTechShow No I asked the wife and she thought I should stay with the 513. No regrets!! I'm quite happy with it . Especially on a really hot day like today, it works great with my mini-split AC. I don't think I need the extra degrees of oscillation or slight extra power. But I do maintain that the handle would come in very handy since it's a bit heavy and the head doesn't go 360...so I need to lift it by the stand to change it's direction. It also has 5 fan blades vs 3 for the 704...that is unique . I think it should be more efficient and helps keep it more quiet. I love the color and the way it looks too. It feels and looks sturdy and modern like a Dyson product. I have one of the vacuums. I hope this helps others trying to decide.
I am a fan-atic and bought the Dreo Smart Tower Fan last year. We were blown away by how quiet it is (cant hear it over the TV) and how narrow and directed the air flow is, blowing just on on me and not the cold-blooded spouse sitting next to me. I'm looking to get a circulator fan so I can have more control and a new toy! I am trying to figure out the difference between the different series/models of Polyfan. More power of just more buttons for the more money...
Thanks for sharing your experience, Clint! 👍
Combien il peut fonctionner sans être connecté ?
how long can take the battery without charging it
I just bought both the 513s and the pedestal version of the dreo. The one thing I recommend is use these in conjunction an air conditioner.
You said it’s height adjustable to 42 inches tall. Is that to the top of the fan? Or the height of the stand under the fan? It’s important so we know how tall furniture can be where the fan can still “see” over it.
Great question... It's from floor to top of the unit. Hope that helps some!
I was reading somewhere that you could save presets of fan settings. Do you know which model has this?
All three can save some form of custom preset. Hope that helps!
With this year's summer being projected to be the hottest yet (In Canada), I'm in the market for another fan. I'm curious how much degrees these fans can actually cool a room down during those peak summer day!
With the recirc fans, they should realistically knock the temp down a few degrees, so not as drastically as proper A/C, but the biggest difference is airflow. With the fabs effectively decreasing the amount of stagnant heat/air on ceilings, it oughta feel like a constant cool breeze around the room. Then again, it's possible that with El Nino, everything on the surface will melt and man will have to live underground.
I recommend a small window a/c unit just for the peak summer months.
You didn't mention that the older fan has 5 blades and the newer one has 3.
Thanks for pointing that out 👍👍
Nice review, thanks. Question, the surge protector that you used to power the fans - is that an Addtam Tower Surge Protector, AMZN Product ID: B0B2NZGKDL ?
Good eye. IIRC, the one in the video is this amzn.to/3KR1zNI. Thanks so much for watching!
502S VS 513?
Personally, it'd be the 513.
