I’d love to know when they say “height” in the dimensions, is that from the floor to the bottom of the fan body itself, or to the top of the fan? Or to put it another way: how tall a piece of furniture could the fan still be tall enough to “see” over?

so the big question? does it put out a lot of air? Is it a strong fan? Today all the fans are so weak. Can you get a strong wind out of it? :)

Doesn't support Homekit natively. If you're tech minded, you can look into Homeassistant with home bridge and dreo integration plugin from hacs. Quite a bit of work, but it works.

Did you need to connect this fan to wifi to make the app work? Because I just returned the 704S because it needed an always-on wifi connection to use ANY of the app features.

Yes. It uses WiFi not bluetooth.
