Bahamas Bowled in Brockenhurst

Not quite the summer weather you'd want for a trip to the seaside, but Jubilee 45596 Bahamas still made a great sight pulling the Dorset Coast Express rail tour. Filmed at Farnborough and Winchester, and then almost totally bowled (merely glimpsed) at Brockenhurst, whilst I was holding an umbrella and the microphone and trying to zoom back out rapidly having decided not to run down the platform after all. Can't win them all!

I was always fond of the Jubilees; one might have one on a semi-fast from Watford to (old)Euston and I had many in the final years of the 1960s on railtours. You did a brilliant pas seul at Brockenhurst!

Another great upload, thank you. What a shame about Brock.... its great see them bounce over the level crossing. I spent great times there with my late Dad, watching the motorail load, shunt up and down and depart into the night.
