Blade HQ I know this video is old, but man that line about the Delica being the only knife Austin has two of sold me. I had to buy one tonight. And the signet ring. So good job on this video, it’s selling knives months later.
@@redpillsociety6479 I'm gonna do it bro I will make this happen I BELIEVE It would be funny if i did get a spyderco engineer to look into it and he was just like "yea bro lockup isn't strong enough because not enough space, no go" Otherwise. Sooner or later it'll happen
I'm sharpening my Spyderco K2 as I watch this video. CPM 10V is one hell of a steel choice! My wife bought this thing for me a few birthdays ago and I absolutely love this big ol blade : )
my favorite spyderco knife I own is one that many people own. it's very affordable and a great size for everyday carry. this knife was actually my first ever knife I bought when I started getting into knives and for that reason it holds a special place in my heart this knife of course if the spyderco tenacious. super affordable and a great everyday carry knife. I have been carrying it on and off for around 5 years now.
My current favorite (seems to change every damn month) is the Spyderco Spydiechef. I love the blade shape. Love how thin it is behind the edge. I love how low profile it is and love how the blade won't rust. Great knife!
I love my para 2!! for me it's easy to sharpen and it keeps its edge extremely well! plus the compression lock and the way it feels in the hand is amazing
@@yasincoban1074 for sharpening and reprofiling the lansky. For touch ups that a strip can't do but not where I need the lansky system then I'll grab the sharpmaker
My favorite Spyderco is my original Endura which I bought in the 80's. Still have it. Non-replaceable clip broke many years ago. Still gets used. Keep up the great videos!
My dad had one of the original Spydercos with the plastic pocket clip. He found it in a box he was unloading at work! The plastic clip had broken off. Over the years, the knife made its way to my collection. I sanded off the broken clip and it made a hell of a knife to carry. I'm a big fan of the Wave feature on pocket knives, so I'd go with the Endura 4 Wave. Thanks for the great videos, gents!
I LOOOVE MY SPYDERCO'S!!! And I got them all from BladeHQ! My favorite is probably my Civilian, followed closely by my all black Emerson Waved Matriarch. I always look forward to the knife banter videos, great video as normal!
My dad bought me a Bug a while back and it has lived on my keychain ever since. I've used that tiny knife for everything you could possibly imagine. I've cut food/opened boxes like all of us do but I've also sliced open probably 120+ bags of concrete (in a pinch at work), cut through a ton of nylon webbing and removed countless splinters and bits of broken glass from my hands and feet all with that tiny blade. The Bug is actually what made me want to buy an actual EDC knife and of course it made me look to spyderco before any other maker. I bought a PM2 and a Delica in quick succession and now I carry the Para 3. Also, that Bug is still on keychain duty and probably will be for quite a while.
I know, right? I don't get how you can't love that knife. Ergonomics of the handle are excellent. The ball bearing lock is extremely comfortable to operate. For me, the PM2, although I like it a lot, is no match for the Manix 2.
for the dislike of the manix 2 ...I carry the 2XL every day and doesn't even bother me a bit!! I wish all spyderco knives had the ball bearing lock and I haven't found another spyderco I like as much as the manix 2XL!!!
Paramilitary 2 with Brown G10 Scales... ordered this knife years ago (different website) not realizing the brown was a limited sprint run... waited over a year before canceling my order (they just had it posted as being back ordered so I was cool with waiting). Finally saw it pop up again on BHQ website through the newsletter and ordered it 10 minutes later. Finally got my Para 2 Brown! Thanks BHQ!
The Dragon Fly is my EDC. I use it at least six days a week. It is so nice because when I take it out at work it is so small that it does not alarm anyone the way the large knife would. And I don't have to worry about it rusting.
Plus one for the Dragonfly. Got mine over a year ago, and it's been in my pocket almost every day as a "people-friendly" backup. Looking at a Roadie next, then a Sage 5, then hopefully a Techno.
Last four years or so I have been daily carrying the Trans-blue Manix. Love the thing. Light weight, a clip that won't shred your pockect and a real formidable beefy blade with an excellent shape. Love it.
I love my Manix 2 XL, I have added a Kydex back strap for extra grip in the hand when flipping it open using the ball lock, and I also added a Titanium deep carry pocket clip. This is an backup EDC for me that rides hidden in the small of my back.
Kind of surprised the Domino didn't make the cut. Although the Delica and PM series are two of my all time favorite styles of Spyderco knives. Great video!
Delica and Endura here, both with the Emerson wave opening. I rotate them in with Cold Steel knives but I always have at least 1 Spyderco at all times.
Yes it is. A nice one too. It has a lock stop half way closed. No way to hurt yourself. I have slipjoints that cost $200 that dont have that feature. It is a great little knife! Any spydie owner would love this one too!
Billthesheepdog I've seen that the halfstop is not exactly at a right angle but a little more towards the handle. Is that an issue? Was thinking about getting one
dont think it is an issue. mine is 90* right about. No way to accidentally close the blade on your fingers. And K390 steel is an excellent knife steel! Just like M390 super steel except not as corrosion resistant. I have seen no issues with that however.
I love the dragonfly 2, standard black handles with vg-10 and carry it every day. Mostly food prep but other small tasks. Then I carry either the para 3 or the benchmade 940-2 in my other pocket for larger tasks. Gotta love the spyderco blades! I also have a Manix 2 all black and would definitely recommend it
I highly recommend the Polestar or Alcyone. It takes an edge really well the steel is tough stuff, used it for scraping away a big bur on the metal mesh in a hydraulic line and it only rolled the edge a tiny bit. Got home and had it smoothed out and razor sharp in no time.
I'm a year too late, but I like my Copilot. I bought back when you could legally use it for its intended purpose. An instructor at Scotti School got me hip to the idea of small clip it knife as money clip for going through security.
My Spyderco Manix 2 XL is the #1 camping knife. Amazing blade shape for camping tasks and it is built like a tank. I have a paramilitary 2 but nothing replaces the manix 2 xl in the brush.
i have wanted a military for a long time. its the perfect size for what i like, love the liner lock, and its a tried and tested, decades proven, amazingly made tool. the m4 version would be killer, but i will be happy with whatever steel i can afford. thanx for the videos guys, i enjoy ur content, and thanx for the chance to win !!
I only currently own one Spyderco knife... It's a delica 4 and I love it. Was a benchmade guy for a long time (still am) but I've been carrying the delica for a few months and it's great!
I would really enjoy a knife banter video about common locking mechanisms. I hear the name “compression lock” a lot, but don’t know exactly what it is. I’ve learned a lot from these videos and would love to learn more!
The Spyderco Tenacious was my first premium brand knife and is still my favorite today after owning it for over 3 years. I want to own the Para 2 with the digital camo scales and the black blade, that was the first Spyderco knife I ever saw and fell in love with the look of it.
Delica 4! It's my EDC work knife, it's my work horse and the back up to my firearm. Off duty I carry a Spyderco grasshopper which is a great little EDC when you want to be light weight and "not scary" in public.
My favorite spyderco I currently own is definitely the dragonfly. It has great edge retention and is the perfect size for everything I need as well as being small enough to not scare those 'anti-knife' people out there!
My favorite Spyderco is my Salt 2, plain edge. I have the serrated version as well. I got both of them when the H1 first started coming out. Love both of them, the plain edge is my favorite though.
Endura 4 Zome. Carries small, thin pocket presence, but large enough for tactical application. Does it all. Not many can do that. The 'Zome' version is beautiful, unique, and makes the FRN rich looking. Jim
Bought a Spyderco Harpy from you guys a few weeks ago. Just for something different. As far as EDC, I own maybe 40 EDC type folders-- But my Spyderco stainless Endura 4 seems to always make it's way back in my pocket. Next buy is going to be a PM2 or Manix2-S110V version!!
Love the Spiderco products. Have carried the Tenacious for years and have 3 of them. Recently acquired the TNP Endura. I like the size and steel used on this. Great products. Thanks for the review.
Hi, I'm a big Delica fan. My first was the 'standard' Delica with the bright orange FRN. Then I got a combo edge Delica in forest green. By then the 'bug' had bitten & I HAD to get a dark green Delica in ZDP-189, probably my favourite. But I still wasn't quite done & got the fully serrated Salt-1 in yellow. Pretty much a Delica for all seasons... But then, just when I thought I was out & well over this Delica thing, those Glesser enablers dragged me back in with the new Wharncliffe model. Gotta get one!
Best Spyderco ever is the Paramilitary 2 hands down. The thing saved my life when I batoned the hell out of it like Shane from The Late Boyscout did to make a splint and crutch when I dislocated my knee. I just posted the review today. I will never give up my PM2
Love the vid! My edc has been Spyderco Sage 1 for many years now and I love using it every chance I get. The only negative I would give is the weak and bendy pocket clip. The knife fell out of my pocket 3 times while getting my wallet out (same pocket). The pocket gets loose over time which is super annoying.
Sweet video. Got into spyderco years ago. Had an old dragonfly where the clip was plastic which sucked but loved the knife till I lost it. Now I rock a Salt 1 that’s amazing & a g-10 dragonfly as my dress knife. Love them all. Cheers guys.
Holyy shit you guys have really grown like crazy! Very impressive to keep at it for over 5 years to get up to 100k, and now look at how far you guys have made it! I started collecting seriously early last year, and watching bladehq videos have by far been the best for getting info on products. Please though BRING BACK AUSTIN! Him and Ben are greatly missed, it's nice to see Ben working on other things though such as that new WE Knife
I love my Endura 4 probably my most carried out of all my Spyderco's. One I'd like to get someday would be the Cidital (discontinued) hoping they bring it back.
I got the Spydie bug! It started with my leftie friendly PM2, then got myself a Spydiechef, that I fully decked out with new bronzed hardware n matching lynch clip.. and recently got my lil bro the lw Manix 2 in translucent blue as a bday gift! I also got the military 2 preordered n thinking adding a Delica 4 or Yojumbo to my collection next xD
I have several Spyderco knives but have to say the one I enjoy most is the Vallotton; style, build, design and quality all contribute to the Vallotton being my first pick to carry. I am looking forward to the "mini" Vallotton and seeing what it's like. :-)
Absolutely love the Dragonfly 2 H1, the spiderco Dragonfly is my go-to knife for gifts for friends who don't have a knife and don't know where to start. Every time I get one for someone, it's not easy giving them away because they're so beautiful.
Love your videos, just subscribed. I have about a dozen Spydercos in my collection. I've carried my Endura, Delica and Dragonfly the most (all in ZDP189). I end up with the Dragonfly most often in my pocket. The Delica is in a jacket pocket and the Endura in my go bag. I would LOVE to own a Para 2 in Blurple.
My favorite Spyderco is the Dragonfly 2. The knife is a bargain! I love the shape of the blade and the protection the shape gives the user from sliding up on the blade. The advertising is correct. It is a small knife that acts like a big knife. The variation of steels it comes in is great i.e. VG 10, ZDP 189, H1, etc. This is a great EDC and not too intimidating to people who are sensitive to knives. I like everything about this knife. I would love to have the Sage as well. Again, I love the shape of that blade. It reminds me of a shark as it is very sleek. It is a great size for and EDC and has awesome steel. I see it as the big brother to the Dragonfly 2. Loved your video.
A spyderco native 5. I own an older model of the native, but I dont carry that one in fear of losing it. I would like to carry it again because its such a great knife.
A Delica has been on my list for a long time. Not sure why I haven't gotten one yet. One of those knives that falls in the category of the mini grip, and the benchmade 940.
The Spyderco Sustain fixed blade would be the one for me, I love that knife but do not carry a fixed blade or use one often enough to make myself purchase it. Every time I look at the Spyderco knives I end up stuck looking at it like a deer in head lights but just can not push my self to click the button. Well that is not the whole truth, I have added it to my cart several times and taken it out, still wishing I had bought it. Thank you for the opportunity and the content, great channel.
My favorite Spyderco would probably be my Sprint Para 2 in CTS-XHP w/ Orange G-10. Wish I had the newly released Spyderco Magnitude, love that Carey design.
Thank you to everyone who participated in the giveaway, it has officially closed! We will randomly select 10 winners, so keep an eye on your inbox and the comments section. Thanks again for 100k! -Austin

I'm in the US Coast Guard, so I would say the Dragonfly due to being around water all the time. Great video !
Absolutely love the Dragonfly 2 H1, the spiderco Dragonfly is my go-to knife for gifts for friends who don't have a knife and don't know where to start. Every time I get one for someone, it's not easy giving them away because they're so beautiful.
I love my Delica 4. I got the zdp-189 version and it converted me to a very big spydie fan almost instantly after buying it
Love my new Yojimbo 2. Would love the Delica 4 Wharncliffe! And to put a Wiseman Co. Signet ring on it!
Recently bought a Byrd Meadowlark 2 FRN, love to own a Delica 4 Zome Green, someday. Great channel guys.
I just got a Delica, in the Zome Green. Really loving it! It came hair shaving sharp out of the box!
A spyderco native 5. I own an older model of the native, but I dont carry that one in fear of losing it. I would like to carry it again because its such a great knife.
The manix 2 in s110v is the perfect edc blade. Lightweight and great blade shape for cutting.
I got my Para 3 today and it is already my favorite Spyderco!
Lum folder. I met Lum at the NYKC show when it was in Manhattan and have always admired the leaf blade.
A Delica has been on my list for a long time. Not sure why I haven't gotten one yet. One of those knives that falls in the category of the mini grip, and the benchmade 940.
Spyderco Sage 5, have not been able to get one yet, always wanted it...
Dale B just go for it! My Birthday is coming up and I'm using that as an excuse for a new Spyderco. Don't need it but they're such nice knives!
I would like to see a few Schrade videos where you show a bunch of them, I actually have four different Schrade knives. Love them all!
i have the manix 2 and i really really want a paramilitary 2 obviously. someday it will happen. you dudes rock
My favourite is my old Leaf Storm I got from my wife for my birthday years ago. Been in my pocket many years.
My favorite Spyderco would probably be my Sprint Para 2 in CTS-XHP w/ Orange G-10. Wish I had the newly released Spyderco Magnitude, love that Carey design.
