The season is about to begin.
Haven’t uploaded in a very long time, just been working on getting parts and stuff for the G.
My buddy just put on his Tomei Ti and man , this thing is straight mental..... in a good way.

Not like this one. He's getting those decel pops due to a tune. You can get smaller pops without a tune though.

the ECU balances the A/F mixture based on the way you drive. you can reset it yourself. if you reset it then drive like a grandma most of the time, you will get better gas mileage but sacrifice horsepower. if you reset it and drive like you have nothing to lose, you will get more horsepower out of your motor and most likely pops like this.

There's no way it's not tuned. Those fuel injectors are still juicing during the RPM decel.

@@dTheHammerb I’m not sure, there is a way to actually make it pop, for example, there is this little trick where you rev the car up to 5k then turn the key to off position then turn it back to the on position while it’s turning off and it will cause the car to pop super loud, why I say this is when it’s decel, you tap the gas a tiny tiny bit and your car will start popping just with the tiny tap of the throttle. Even without the ghetto ass tune I just explained, you can tap the gas a tiny bit and it will cause the car to give some tiny pops.

more than likely he drives his car very aggressively, which promps the ECU to alter the A/F mixture to accommodate his driving habits. you can reset this procedure yourself. drive like a grandma = better gas mileage & lower horsepower. drive like a bat out of hell = more horsepower & lower gas mileage. these pops are most likely a side effect of his personalized A/F mixture
