If you put the Yoyo near the bottled ship you'll get +1 ship activation more than if the flail was there, as it copies attacks of the flail on top of its own cooldown.
Whilst not the best early weapon the atlatl is a top tier pyg weapon especially with the crook but even without its pretty easy to get it to 1 second cooldown. remember small damage buffs over time add up massively.
Burst damage is hard to counter, you mainly need to hope you get the right skills to survive until their initial strike is over Pygmalien doesn't have many quick triggering items The shield item merchant can occasionally give you shield enchants and I think the chance of it scales with the day you're on Also, leveling increases how strong the midday encounters are, which also increases the money and experience they give At the end of levels 5 and 10 you get a universal upgrade and something special at level 15
34:51 if the yoyo was near the shield wouldn't that give you an extra trigger of Model ship? You get the yoyo cooldown plus every trigger from the flail activating the yoyo.
I've seen some others on your other videos comment this, but I'll chip in as well. Old Sword is bugged when you sell it from the backpack, but it works from the board.
At 1:01:00 I wonder if deed would have been a valid replacement for the bow? Since it trades ~240 dmg for an extra 47 scaling on your other three weapons (which is effectively doubled or better on all three). I think that comes out to better than 270 dmg the first gym cycle and only compounds after. You lose your initial burst pretty hard, and it messes with arrangement enough it might kill the effectiveness of model ship, so probably not ultimately worth it. But I definitely would have considered it with gym
Yoyo says "...use this" so next to the model ship would make it activate anytime the yoyo activates. Would make model be affected by anything going off
Is putting the Gym, Drums, Ship and Flail (it fits, right?) all on the same board a bad idea? Very susceptible to freeze and slow, sure, but I wonder if it would've gotten that 7th chest. (Would die just as well against the last enemy though, life gone in a blink)
You never really had the option but Atlatl and the crook could have been a pivot for this build. Eventually you get Atlatl down to 1 second cool down. I think they thought the game would be slower than it is because there are so many builds that are invalidated because the speed of late game builds are so fast. Your build was great... If it had time but the late game is all about speed and/or insanely high numbers
uh... maybe? I just think you're not necessarily meant to always win 10 times. You can only get to 10 when you get something _truly_ great, "good" builds will start burning down around 7 otherwise. There's a myriad of combinations of skills and enchanted weapons that can slow down an enemy board or speed up yours. Rhaps board here was somewhat solid in terms of item synergy but it was very vanilla, not very upgraded, he had very few skills and not super synergistic with his build, most of his items weren't really "enhanced" (in terms of stats like higher damage or lower cooldown) so, if he had gotten to it a bit earlier he would have definitely been able to snatch 7 victories I think but by the time he got here with as many losses he had, he was facing things that outscaled it.
Yaaaaaaa, this game still needs some fairly hard core balancing patches IMO. However, I asked in the Bazaar discord and it turns out that I am in the minority there. It seems all the other people in there save one at the time I asked (only half a dozen peeps or so), all thought that the game is best busted unapologetically. They said the game shouldn't really be about strategy or choices, but chasing the high rolls and almost sounded like gambling addicts to me. I'm not sure where Rhaps falls in there or the devs, but I am hoping they aren't tapping their wrists every time they here the word "lootbox". :D
That's a mentality that seems to come up pretty frequently with single player games and, I guess, "single player" games. It my experience, it's pretty short sighted, because it ends up condensing the build variety and makes experimenting a lot less interesting.
How about about a challenge? Pacifist - any character. (You are not allowed to do any direct or indirect damage to any enemy for a run. Sandstorm is allowed because its not you)

Deed would have doubled the damage Pyg's gym would of given, even in your back pack.
Crook is great with Atlatl. The bonus per medium item can get BIG. Especially with numerous medium weapons.
Fun episode!
Aww man, I so wanted to see that gatling go offff
Ok... Hear me out...
Brooding Pygmalion.
Its just regular Pygmalion voicelines, but the voice actor is Wayne June.
Who is Pyg's VA? He sounds like a Jim Cummings character...
Speed is everything late game! Ggs

Same with Cybersecurity, I think you were right not to play it, but I think if it went anywhere it would be over bow
The item you talked about in the beginning, is crook. It brings Atlatl to 1sec cooldown.
Well played btw.
Yoyo says "...use this" so next to the model ship would make it activate anytime the yoyo activates. Would make model be affected by anything going off
No. Yoyo only activates on adjacent item, not "anything". Also the model ship doesn't Use so it won't activate yoyo.
Can we get a video where you enchant an on sell item please?

atlatl is broken 😷
