My A22 jams like crazy using both the 25 rd magazine and the 10 rounder it comes with in the box. I've put through it at least 8 brands of .22 ammo and it jams nonstop every few rounds. I got a lemon.
Maybe call them up and see what they recommend? I hear they have great customer service. Maybe try this stuff. www.gotenda.com/product/cci-standard-velocity-ammunition-22-long-rifle-40-gr-lrn-case-1000/
did you try CCI High Velocity? if that dont work, try hyper velocity, i bought 2 mags of 25, one of em seems to jam now and again, but not the other, maybe the spring in the mag isnt strong enough
didn't even jam up once. i wish i could say the same for mine lol it seems the butler creek mag prefers certain ammo. winchester silver tips work really good but winchester copper plated hollow points constantly jam anyways good vid brent
The 10 round cylinder mag was nothing but problematic for me. Would jam in the breech and the way you have to load it, deforms the soft rounds. I’m now using the Butler Creek 25 clips as shown 1 of which came with the gun A22 RSVR. Works great but it’s not very ergonomic. Mine works great. Runs a wide variety of ammo no problems.
I just bought The Savage A22 magnum with Butler creek mags. Now I read all these bad feed issues. What brand and type of ammo are you using. It is hard to find A22 ammo. Will CCI maxi mags work? CCI TNT mags? What works? Thank you! Please let me know
This is an awesome plinker
Oh ya, it’s great! Lots of fun!

hi gerg, so what happened to your gun after a year of your comment?
@@brentbuckley5122 something simple is wrong. Maybe how it’s mounted in stock. Send it back - does not operate safely.
@Drake Awoken I think my spring isn't strong enough it jams up at full capacity but when it gets down to like 15 to 10 rounds left it shoots fine
didn't even jam up once.

Yes, the type of ammo is key. They are picky that way unfortunately. Thanks man!
Bouncy Bouncy.
Why doesn’t Savage make a 25 round magazine for the thousands of 60 series rifles it has sold?
That’s a great question, I wish I did.....

❤
Looks "savage" 😄😄
How would it compare to the Ruger 10/22?
Not sure, never shot a 10/22. I’m sure they are similar
It’s a lot easier to clean and service than the Ruger.
Where did you get that gun? I would love to get ahold of one of those but can’t find them.
Good work! Keep it up! 🤙
Toasted Drewdle thanks man
What is the difference between that and the 64/62? Do they use the same mags?
No. Savage A22 and Savage 64/62 are two completely different firearm design. They use different mags.
@@brentbuckley5122 Thank you.
Good video bro do more 🔥just subbed

Hey! So this is the ammo I use and RARELY have any issues.

your rifle is a 22 magnum? Have you tried any other ammo? and have you tried any ammo you have had a problem with
thx
@@BK-gc1jm no, I don’t have the magnum.... just the 22LR. I’d assume the same brand would work for the magnum
which model of this red dot friend?
www.bushnell.com/red-dots/trophy/trophy-trs-25-red-dot-sight/BU-731303.html
Is that the 22WMR or 22LR model? Either way seems that the magazines work well.
Just the 22LR. Ya the mag works great and so does the gun. A lot of fun plinking.
The gun has horrible "bolt bounce". I'm certainly not interested in buying a Savage now. Great video.
It is still quite a formidable .22, i have one and it runs flawlessly
Do you know of a stock blowback .22 that doesn't?
All semi auto rimfire bolt seems to bounce in slow motion videos.
I got news for you if it anit a bolty or a lever action it's gonna have bolt bounce
How much does it cost
Not much. The have them at cabelas
Verygood verygood
I from .thailand พัทลุง.
Does this mag fit the 22 64 model?
No they don’t unfortunately.
@@brentbuckley5122 What a shame,...because there's another Savage magazine that is crying out for improvement, isn't it?
@@regsparkes6507 it would be awesome if the model 64 had a larger mag.
@@brentbuckley5122 I'll buy almost ANY mag. that will let my 64 Take Down shoot without jamming!
Would be nice to show it shoot fast too and not always in slow mo.
What mag is that? Where’d you get it?
It’s a butler creek mag. They sell them at Cabelas. They have one that fits savage A22 22LR and one that fits the A22 22wmr and A17
#plinkingparadise 😃👍👍
Will it fit a 7022
No it doesn’t unfortunately
Slow motion 🤦🏻♂️
What are those stickers on there🤢
