    Thanks so much for this, big help for those just getting started with this workflow. Question maybe you can provide some in sight to. When comparing an Alembic export to the Bender python export, the blend python is missing many tracking points that the alembic export has. Any way to control this and have more tracking points with the blender python export ?

    • @SidewaysUpJoe
      @SidewaysUpJoe Месяц назад +2

      In case it helps others. While in a "camera view", select a tracker(s), right click then under Attributes and you will find "Exportable".

      Thanks! Sorry I didn't get around to respond earlier but it looks like you figured it out. 🙂
      I haven't been having this issue as of today. The trackers, by default should be set to exportable. In the trackers Tab at the very bottom, there is a little checkbox In the solved area. But as you stated below right click menu also works!

    Hey Guys, somehow the default export to blender does not work. Do I need to specify the version of blender and how would I have to set it upß Thank you

    • @prophetless
      @prophetless  25 дней назад

      I just checked with Blender 4.2.3 and latest Syntheyes and the defaults are working as expected. There is an option to change the versions in the export if you are using an early version of Blender. What versions are you using?

    • @NickHeinOfficialPage
      @NickHeinOfficialPage 24 дня назад

      @@prophetless 4.2..the default path simply does not work. It doesnt even open blender. Could you somehow provide a picture/script how you referenced your version of blender? Mine is: C:\Program Files\Blender Foundation\Blender\blender.exe

    • @prophetless
      @prophetless  24 дня назад

      In the Blender Python Settings when you export. Put that file path in the Blender application box. So Syntheyes knows where to look.

    Hey, thanks for the tutorial. It seems like a simple shot but it's not, I had to work a lot on syntheyes because the camera shakes when it approaches the guy.

    Awesome tutorial. Please, can you do a tutorial on Mocha Pro to Blender workflow? I read somewhere that mocha Pro now has the same camera solver with Syntheyes

    • @prophetless

      Thanks! Yes they added a simplified version of the Syntheyes camera tracker into Mocha Pro. I'll put this on my list of videos to do.

    Thanks for this video!!! I'm curious about the purpose of this whole workflow. Why do we undistort footage and then distort it back when 3d camera tracking?
    Also, the tracking looks amazing, can I achieve it without syntheses? because I don't own a copy. And what about Stmaps? Can I create it inside Fusion?
    I would appreciate it if you could explain this to completely beginners.

    • @prophetless
      @prophetless  4 месяца назад +1

      You're welcome! I might do a video on this but let me try.
      Basically when you shoot video with a real world camera the lens on the camera adds distortion to your image. When working in 3D space(CGI) the software, by default, creates perfectly straight objects. In order to merge them together so it looks like it was shot in real life we need to un-distort the real world image to match the 3d space(which is perfectly straight) then render out our 3d image and re-distort them to match the same lens curvature as the real world camera.
      As far as the other questions Yes and Yes. The Camera Tracker in Fusion is pretty good and it does lens distortion.
      Check out this video for more on the process:
