When it came to designing this cart, we knew we wanted a rolling cart on casters and we knew a vertical dust collection cart was the way to go for space saving reasons. We were able to fit our dust separator, dust collector, shop vac, and hose reel, plus additional accessories in a small footprint. It’s really sturdy and has already helped with our shop organization. Хобби

EvanAndKatelyn I Live in Texas and yes I heard you have 4 channels
Evan: Clamps down wood
Sawdust: E X P L O S I O N
I didn't think a dust collection video could be entertaining to watch. But you managed to make it fun! Really enjoyed it.
Thank you! That makes us really happy to hear!
I love the googly eyes on everything
Haha thank you!! We bought a mega-pack of them a while back and have slowly been vandalizing our shop!
Same
Did you see the eyes on the air-conditioner all they were in the background but they kept moving them so it looked like they were following them as they were working it was awesome
Without googly eyes then whats the point
Love the intro looks like what they do in a real infomercial lol for a dust collecting machine lol
haha thanks! That's what we were going for!
Saw dust gets everywhere when I clamp too lol
glad we aren't the only ones...
If only there was a better way.
it's good to see you two are cleaning up your act (LOL)
Haha! Just brushing the dust off our shoulders :P
Good old cookie stack! Maybe he meant an Oreo? Cool cart, y'all! I see that being SUPER handy.
Haha! Oh yeah an Oreo I guess that wood make sense... maybe we'll call it the Cookie Cart and it will be a ver confusing name :P Thanks!!
Honestly I read it as a Supper Oreo, because I'm an adult and cookies sound like a fantastic dinner selection! 🤣
It must have been Oreo indeed.
At first I really wanted cookies, but then I realized it was ice cream sandwiches I really wanted!
Hahaha, this comment is so meta for reasons unknown to all those who haven't seen a certain specific unpublished video that is coming soon... 😋
Hey, that's not fair 😂
I have a mild case of dyslexia and read "Dust Collection Art". You can imagine my confusion when I see a cart being built. HOWEVER, dust collection art would be super rad!
Honestly, who is thumbs downing this video? This was the funnest I've watched in a while. I really need something like this is the shop. Thanks for sharing.
So glad you liked the video!! Sometimes haters gonna gate 😋
Bahaha *hate. Or gate. Who knows what haters do 🤣
4:45 kitty helping paws 🤣🤣
I'm dying. That intro XD Definitely going to have to do a project like this when I move into my own shop.
Hahaha thank you!! We had way too much fun with that intro...
This is super efficient especially the footprint. I've been thinking about how deal with dust in my almost shop/garage. I may steal this design idea. 😁 🤓
Thank you! You definitely should steal it!!
The practicality of this project is off the charts! I think A LOT of small-shop makers could benefit from a set up like this, especially me.
Thank you! Gotta be as practical as we can when it comes to shop org, space is so valuable in a small shop!
I like your setup, different than all the rest I have looked at. I'm glad Rockler sent the stuff to you because that whole setup is around a grand to build.
3:28 googly eyes moving on the fan LOL
🤣 seeing your hands tossing saw dust!
4:46 Kitty is such a good helper. 🐱
She's a very good helper!
Hmm, I was looking for someone else to point out the paint colour, but I didn't see anyone doing it so... love the squidward teal for the dust collector!
Just got the same dust right system with the canister as well as the hose reel w/ the separator - all of them in one little area is so great to have! One small thought - you should consider getting the canister for the dust right system - it helps filter the air really well in the shop and it is self cleaning so you never have to replace it. You could move the hose reel to the other side of the canister so you can have space to raise up the vacuum, then move all those little dust collector bits to a little tray underneath your big vacuum bag. Just a little rework to get more bang for your buck - your future lungs will thank you! Cheers guys!
Thanks for the tip! We'll definitely keep that in mind - we designed this to have a little extra space just in case we did need to do a rework 😁
I just love you two!!! Especially as a couple and a team, compliment each other not to mention your woodwork is phenomenal!!! So glad you’re full time now ;)
Thank you so much for the kind words!
🤣🤣🤣🤣 The beginning literally had me cracking up out loud!!! I just love yalls good natured selves!
Haha thank you!! We had way too much fun filming the beginning
I've seen similar-ish designs, mainly just for the cyclone/shop-vac setup. But this design is just wow! Complete, tidy, making use of every square centimetre (or square inch). Love it
Thank you so much! We really tried to make it an all in one!
Finally, RUclipsrs who don't abuse Patreon and their patrons!!!
There's way too many RUclips channels that are using Patreon as a monthly source of income. Which is great, if they were to actually do what they said they were going to be doing on Patreon.
Most just create an account and post the first video and that's it. They don't give what patrons are paying for, but that doesn't stop them from plugging their Patreon page at the end of every video.
We do an additional patreon-only video for every project video we post - we ♥️ our patrons!
EvanAndKatelyn I know! It's awesome how much you do with your patrons! You definitely don't take them for granted(which 75% of the RUclipsrs that I have checked out their Patreon page do)!!!
Do you have a rough estimate on how many molds at 1.75" square x 6", the silicone would make? I'm wanting to make hybrid resin and wood/burl knife scales and have no clue if the silicone that's in the description would have enough?
I'm definitely going to become a Patron!
Thanks for being great people who don't take advantage of your subscribers!!!
I'm not sure off hand but usually the buckets will say how much volume they make and you can do the math from there! And also thank you so much!! We really really appreciate the support
I like the way Techmoan handles his Patreon. He doesn't do anything extra and explains why. He makes is quite clear that it is a way to support the stuff he buys and reviews on his YT channel. It makes total sense and he still gets great support. This channel seems to have a nice setup too though, giving private chats and such to their supporters. I can see both sides. That would be really annoying though is channels promise things and don't deliver.
Not sure how I haven't found your channel sooner, but one video and I am hooked. You are entertaining, quick, and detailed. Thank you. Only thought for upgrade is to have your bins able to slide in and out individually. Simple update, like your sides. 2 sides and a top (thinner ply) with wood rails to slide bins on their lip. I know me, if they are stacked more than 2, I won't keep it organized!
Oh my E&K!!! LOL what a beginning to this video, I love it!!
this is nice. I may build something similar in the future for my garage.
this looks super practical.
the chemistry between you guys is unbelievable
Love the project and teamwork. You booth make your video's enjoyable too watch. Great Job - 5 thumbs up.
The infomercial intro was great! I can't believe people buy into those things. "TIRED OF STRUGGLING WITH BLANKETS?! 🤣 Snuggie will change your life.
You guys are totally inspiring me! 🙌🏼
Aw thank you!
Yeah. I've thinking about getting those new Bessey parallel clamps with built-in dust port as well!
Gotta have a dust port for your clamps, that's a no-brainer :P
Thanks for this. I’m in the middle of reorganizing my shop and trying to figure out what to do with my two dust collectors was start to get difficult this works great for me.
Good luck with your shop reorg! Haha I feel like we are in a constant state of needing to reorganize
I love this build! So handy! I really need to make something like this. Thanks guys!
Thank you!! It's definitely proven to be really handy so far 😁
Awesome work Guys love the organisational aspect of this project Thanks for sharing
Thank you! We love us some good organization too :)
OMG you two are HILARIOUS! and helpful! Thanks for the great work, great channel, and great entertainment!
Dust Right is a banger of brand name lol
The best part of your videos are definetly the eyey on the tools and stuff
Haha thanks!
Ha ha ha...there’s that Evan chuckle that cracks me up! When he was asking if you went in there without a screw. I really like how this contains everything in one place and the vertical design is nice on the ole footprint. Great job!
Haha!! His chuckle cracks me up too. Then it's just a laughing back and forth fest. Glad you like the design!! Thank you!
truly creative people.. i really love all your small touches of unique video elements, and the cat hands you guys used in one frame.. and the googly eyes on the A/C.. just love your creativity.. and perfect video length in relation to the content!
Thank you so much! We have a ton of fun with all the little fun add-ons like that. Glad you like it!
Ooo! Ooo! I just ordered my own XCarve yesterday! So excited! Gonna make coasters galore!
Ahhh!!! Congrats!!
Were the googly eyes on the AC moving!?
Wait, do most AC's NOT have moving eyes? 👀
He's watching the shop to make sure he blesses the place with cold air and banishes the hot air.
Also Ms. AC is the supervisors assistant and has an eye on things when he's not around himself
Literal LOL at the eyes on the A/C. Quality camera work there.
@@EvanAndKatelyn amazing camera work
I loved the mock infomercial style at the beginning! Awesome dust cart!
Haha thank you! Filming the infomercial was one of our favorite parts!
Wow, you guys are good actors. thumbs-up.
Haha, we do our best 😹😹
Great design guys. I need to make one of thesis for my dust collecter. I do a lot of carpentry and sand furniture a lot. Very Cool !
Thank you! It'll be super handy if you're doing a lot of sanding. Good luck!
Go on, dust ya shoulders off....
Love this project, even if it sucks (hehe) but the paint...puts it on a whole new level of awesome!!
Haha! Thank you! I'm glad we ended up trying some paint too :D
Love it! Might be the first time I've seen a full dust collector (aside from the shop vac) be mobile like that. The infomercial at the beginning was AMAZING!!
Thank you! Haha the informercial was so fun to film, wanna do more of that
While I don't think that would work for a number of content creators, it fits SO WELL with your personalities! Definitely went back and watched it a few times
Omg I love these 2 and I love this channel! I spent many hours last night watching this channel. I didn’t even care if I seen it before.
Aw thank you so much! So glad you like the channel!
That is the sexiest dust collector ever! Great job guys!
Thank you!!
Great build and video! Really like the overall design and functionality of dust collection cart! 👍👍
Thank you so much!
Great stuff guys! Nice to keep everything in one place! 👍🏼👍🏼
Thanks y'all! Definitely more convenient and organized this way!
Thanks!
I don't have enough resources to make such things now....but watching your videos makes me want to have my own work studio more n more....❤❤❤😁
you can always start small! Our first project was our 2 foot x 4 foot marquee letters and we made them on our apartment balcony with a jig saw and a drill - you can do it!
Great vid, I love the mobility of the this type of dust collection. Most I have seen are always stuck in a corner and stationary
Thank you! Our goal is to out everything in the shop on wheels haha
EvanAndKatelyn I can see a race in the making, extractor vs drop saw who is the fastest on casters lol
LOL LOVE the dramatic intro!! Another great video!! Thanks for posting!
haha thank you! we had way too much fun filming that
Your videos always put a smile on my face.
Aw thank you!
Nice job !
Thank you!
Wow it is so nice and easy for cleaning organization. :)
Nice build you two! You guys look like you had way too much fun!
Thank you! We always have fun making videos 😁
I love the way you guys edit your videos!
Thank you so much!
Love this video on dust collection cart. I'm building it now and was hoping you would share the dimensions of the base. Thx.
Love u & your energy guys
Thank you so much!
You guys are so much fun. It's a great project... but you guys add entertainment value as well. Great combination. I always enjoy your videos.
Thank you so much! It's not easy to make dust collection interesting but we try 😁
Great build! I also liked the 8-bit Nintendo sound effects! :-)
Thank you! Been having a lot of fun with sound effects lately 😁😁
You should use this in your attic.
Oh my goodness! Another awesome video! 😂🤣😆👌👍
Thank you!! Glad you liked it!
Love it! Sadly if i built one in my tiny workshop I wouldn't fit! I could stand outside and look in at it though, plus it would totally cure my dust problem since i wouldn't be able to cut anything. Great fun watching as always and so impressed with all your stuff. Happy happy
Well that is one way to solve your dust collection problems... 😋 Glad you like the video, thank you!
WOW wonderful job guys. Good idea and good realization. BRAVI
Micky (from Italy)
Thank you so much! And hello from Texas!
I'm craving cookies now. Thanks you two 😜
Haha, you're welcome 🍪
The AC at 3:30! *Perfection*
Haha thank you!
You two are the best!!!
Aw thank you!
great idea.
Thank you!
What a good idea
Thanks!
so old yet still just as good as the newer videos
B.T.W You guys have great content!
I really liked the music in this video! Nicely done!
Thank you!
Awesome video
Thank you!
i keep sending vids like these to my girlfriend, she knows i like to make cool stuff like this and i keep telling her once we move in together we're gonna be doing stuff like this lol. thanks for all the brain fuel for ideas
Thank you!! Good luck on your projects together!
Awesome project! Also, loving the NES sound effects ;)
haha thank you! Can't...stop...using....Mario sound effects!
EvanAndKatelyn don’t. ever. stop. :D
Just found your channel. You two are hilarious and a lot of fun to watch. Good job on the videos and some great ideas in them. I see someone else suggested getting the canister filter for the Dust collector. I second that - replaced the cloth bag and added the filter about a year ago to mine. Major difference in suction and so much easier to empty the plastic bag instead of the cloth bag.
Thank you! So glad you like the videos! And thanks for the tip, that's really good to know!
Googly eyes on the ac said "we groovin"
The eyes on the a.c. unit movedddd
👀👀👀👀👀
I laughed out loud when I saw the dust flying for just clamping stuff. That was good. Great video and I just discovered you guys; new subscriber.
Haha thank you! And thanks for subscribing!!
I laughed so hard when y'all were throwing up that sawdust in the beginning. Great video:)
hahaha thank you!!! :D
The DIY stop motion googly eyes on your split AC "Epic film editing" was so funny
Haha thank you! That was so fun to do
0:38 I was just having some oreos, so it made perfect sense to me :D
My dad needs this
Another great, functional project! Also those eyes lol
thank you!! haha glad you noticed the eyes
I liked the intro. Funny as! Great vid
Haha thank you! We had way too much fun doing the intro
Great dust collection. Would like to build one for my self except I can’t afford over $1200 to do so. You got over $900 in freebies from Rockler that helped. At a minimum of $65 for one sheet of 3/4” plywood and $7.00 each for the 2x4’s and when I add in the casters (which I forgot to do) I’m running close to $1300. This might not mean anything to you now, but when your retired on limited income it’s a big deal. But nice dust collection anyway.
You guys are the best!
Aw thank you!
Omg im dying fron the intro 😂
Haha thank you! 😁❤️
Great cart, great video, great googly eyes 👀
Hahaha... Really the googly eyes are the stars here 😉👀
You guys' infomercials kill me every time haha
Haha thank you!
I love this channel 😃
Thank you! ❤️❤️
Y’all would be awesome neighbors.
Haha thank you! I think our neighbors think we're weird... :P
This video is OVER 9000! I love the humor, editing, camera angles, ALL GREAT! I couldn't hit the like faster and its just a shop cart video. :)
And this isn't even my final form! :P Thank you so much, so glad you like the video!
23 seconds in and I'm laughing out loud at my desk. Thanks for making my coworkers stare at me.
Hahaha! Your coworkers just aren't as cool as you! :P
With the rockier handles you will handle your cart easy 😁😁😁
So, you guys are awesome. I gotta know the music you use. The jazzy, 1940's/pop/remix cuteness.
I'm super stumped by this too! I looked up the three listed in the description but none matched! After some digging I found DJ Quads - A Bouquet Of Roses, but digging up any info on the artist is like a freaking ARG. I really enjoy the music though so it's been 100% worth it and I've found some of their other tracks on youtube. Their presence on spotify is weirdly redacted. You can find some of their albums directly but almost none of them are linked to from the author's bio page.
@@dustinjablonski9854 holy crap thank you! Weirdly in every video this song is in, it's not listed in the music part of the description! I've been looking for almost a week! THANK YOU! A 4yr old comment saved my sanity!
@@heyitstoki LOL! Happy to help! Still one of my go to artists for chill upbeat background music. If you like Roses then you'll probably like Midnight Snack too. Similar but more bassy cakewalk than electro swing. Enjoy!
