I was so sad when I saw the episode where they revealed what happened exactly. I was so so sad. I was sad for weeks, to be honest. I haven't really had any relationship. But, I don't know why I can just feel how heartbreaking it could be. Losing someone you've known and loved for so long. I watched this series last year and even now when I see this it makes me sad. Their love started early since they were young and it's hard to move on to someone u have been with ur entire life. I just wish there was a prequel before the suicide happen, I mean, It can't just be because Mafuyu asked him if he would die for him. There has to be something he was going through at that time that led to his demise.. Their fight might have been the last straw for him. His life probably was hanging from a thread, I think he was depressed u just can't see it. The last part of chapter 9 after the credits roll was also funny and going back to chapter 3 where he went to that same beach again a year after he and yuki went there, u can see that he is now alone and reliving the moments he spent with Yuki there when he was still alive, which is so sad btw. and also in chapter 9 his hasty suggestion to have bathroom 6 with mafuyu when they get back was also hot and funny lol, u will see there that they really are close... arghh I'm sorry for writing a damn essay but I just want to let it out, I hope someone would see this if they have the same feeling after finishin the anime too lol I know it's just fiction but damn, it hit me right in the feels.. periodt

I hate mafuyu so much. Yuki didn’t deserve that, how could u say that to ur partner? Yuki truly deserved so much better and it pisses me off seeing him happy with someone else but I think he had enough of a punishment. It just makes me so sad seeing young yuki who could of had a long and happy life
I might give you some spoiler from manga here but I have to say this becuase I don't like it when someone thinks that mafuyu is the reason yuki killed himself. In manga, yuki is showed as "extrovert and unperturbed"(unperturbed means untroubled and calm) but when Uenoyama listened to his songs he said that "yet there is hint of loneliness", so that basically means that being extrovert was like a facade to hide his loneliness from the world and from himself. And on the strawberry swing side story, yuki's mother said that "he was the type to succumb to the similar situation and that he was same as his father" .. even yuki's mother said that yuki didn't killed himself becuase of their last fight. So it's clear that he had mental health issues. But he was still holding on to his life for mafuyu, and when mafuyu said "would you die for me then" .. maybe for him, it was like he finally had the permission to free himself from his pain, loneliness and whatever mental health issues he had. . I think yuki was really drowning in his own issues so much that even if mafuyu got to know about his mental issues earlier he wouldn't have been able to save him. It's really hard to reach the shore when you are drowning really deep. And I think it's good for yuki to finally make himself free from all the pain. I said all this on yuki's side and also mafuyu's side becuase I.. because I understand yuki. I am the same as him, I have never said it before to anyone. And that's why I cried very much on this anime because I relate to it from yuki's side, I can feel his pain and loneliness with the way he talks on the episode 9(by the ocean). Because .. I'm also waiting for that permission. So I don't think it's mafuyu's fault that yuki died.
