New Super Mario Bros. Wii Custom Level - Icefire Grotto

Icefire Grotto is a large freezeflame stage, with a castle area and a boss battle at the end, designed by me and @danster64 for the Horizon Level Contest. The level employs a never used before gameplay feature to split the main zone into an ice area and a fire area. Newer Super Mario Bros. Wii is required for the level to work correctly.

Extract this on the SD Card and make sure any .LH file with the same name is deleted, or you will play the original Newer Wii level instead.
A couple notes:
The level is NOT multiplayer-compatible due to the zone splitting mechanic
HDTV graphics mode on console causes ice colors to look washed out
The background may glitch when dying in the lava area
Enemies may occasionally despawn when transitioning between areas
There's a small camera bug when entering the final boss room
Audio issues in the final zone (unfixable without extra code mods)
Finally, shoutout to @ZementBlock for discovering the zone splitting mechanism used in the level.
Not bad. The suddenly switching backgrounds really stood out to me, and the way Larry and Iggy appeared at the same time surprised me as well.
Very nice and the soundtrack really compliments the level background constantly changing.

Reggie Level Editor Next is what i use. The level uses Newer Super Mario Bros Wii as a base for some additional features.

How do u import levels? I made it in reggie next, but when i try to import it when i open the level in the game it freezes!
how do you make connected pipes work? can you make a tutorial please?
Nothing difficult, but a couple of code patches are required because Nintendo's code is broken (implemented in NewerSMBW). When placing a pipe entrance, set it as Connected Pipe, and set the Path ID. On the other entrance, set the Reverse flag. Regarding the exit direction, you have to set the exit of the other pipe (for example, if the entrance is up and the exit is down, you set the exit direction as down in the upper pipe). The path nodes have to be placed in very specific positions in order to spawn Mario in the pipe. The camera set up is explained in another one of my replies in this video :)

I wouldn't recommend this. As i said in the description, this level breaks completely apart in multiplayer mode due to the warping mechanic we used.
