Hey Richard. Thanks for sharing as usual. I'm from the Caribbean, Trinidad🇹🇹. My dragonfruit started budding way early this year from late January and wasn't expecting such early budding. As such, I didn't get to prune before budding. Is it ohk to prune the tree while it is budding/flowering/fruiting?

My Dragon fruit tree Has been grown on a palm for at least 15years. It is way over grown. What is the best way to remove it and start cuttings as you have done. I have had 1 fruit in the 15years it has been there. So I know it can pollinate itself. It flowers every year 1 time, but they don't produce fruit and when it does it usually gets eaten by squirrels. The squirrels are a pest problem in fruiting season(eating the new fruit) and when growing on the palm tree I can't reach them to bag them! Do I just pull it all down and keep the best leads?

Richard, for your orange, you can try putting 2 cups of brown sugar close to the roots. I have 2 sour orange trees like you have. I dig a hole very close to the tree enough to contain 2 cups of brown sugar. I then soak the brown sugar with water. I let the water drain and soak the sugar again. You can do this 2-3 times or until you don’t see the sugar. I have done this 2 years in a row, and I have been getting sweeter oranges. Give it a try and good luck! Thanks for your video, I have learned very important method to produce more fruits for my dragon fruits.
