Nice job there Scout... Even when talking about the things you don't like you can hear the joy the bike brings in your voice... Those Tenere are sweet AF!
Great video mate, it was exciting to hear what things about the bike didn't suit you so well. The shaky display, I couldn't believe it, there shouldn't be anything like that on a bike like this. Thanks for sharing and have a great Sunday. Ride on🤙
Had the same opinion of the shifting/gearbox when I first got my T&. Made a slight adjustment to the height of the shift lever and it made all the difference in the world. Feels buttery smooth now.
Just came across your video, a few answers to your questions, the cluster is supposed to wobble so it doesnt break anything riding off road. Its a bigger and higher sitting unit than its competetors and thats why its rubber mounted. Heel guards, what you are discribing is a sport bike riding technique and not applied off road ridding, after all its a off road bike. I totaly aggree with the ABS not staying off, thats a pain in the *ss, since these are EURO spec bikes, in Europe they are required for the ABS to allways be on, so no one forgets to turn it back on and have a Accident, there is a baypass plug that eliminates that problem. Gearbox, the engine and trans are 100% identical with the MT07 so it might have been a case with that particular bike you rode, maybie very low millage bike? and last the exhaust guard, to many ADV bike have the exhaust running under the engine because of space issues, we would love to get a better skid plate on the bike from factory, but considering how much bike we get for our money.... ill gladly spend a few more bucks on protection. Cool video all in all !!!! Cheers mate
ABS is a saftey feuture, and I actually expect and like that ABS is on all the time and after starting it up again as default. Imagine being a nooby and forgetting to turn it on again.
Yeah it would be nice to turn off electronics and have them stay off, I wouldn’t want any so I’d be turning what I can off every ride especially on a dual sport. I definitely would never want abs in any situation ever, I might use traction control on a liter bike on roads but not on the track. 🤙🏼
Yea I'm not a huge fan of it all either. The only think I like is abs on the front tire for street riding. Btw I might be in you neck of the woods in a few months, would be cool to hang out
Personally, dope ass is a solid, sincere, comment that overall you love the bike. I just ordered one, should be in by May where I live in Wisconsin. Looking forward to dope ass riding. Keep up the honest, well thought out reviews. I loved it!!!!
Thank you for your findings on this bike! Super helpful! Ride safe! ❤️👍😊🌟🤟🏼
Thanks Elizabeth! Such a fun. Ike even with the negatives
serious and honest review from somebody who knows to ride motorcycle....thanks man!!
Thanks man I appreciate that 🍻

Haha so true, the tenere is such a good bike!

Thanks ck, my buddy that lent me the bike just bought a bracket that fixes it which was pretty cool. Enjoy your week!
@@ScoutsOut You too buddy🙏🙌

Ohh nice, good to hear a quick adjustment solves that, thanks
>Why doesnt it remember I turned off ABS
Thank lawmakers. It's mandated, that bikes (and cars) turn on into a 'default' state.
Right super annoying, but makes sense I didn't know it was a mandate, makes it even more annoying lol

Well said, I do tend to bleed my sport bike I treat and style of riding into dual sports
Love, love, love the review!!!!
Thanks bro, I appreciate that
I experience the same with the gearbox, specially downshifting from 5, 4, 3, to 2. It is very hard and clunky.
yea I was quite surprised, my R7 shifts good and I remember the MT07 shifting good. not sure what the major differences in gear boxes are though

Yes definitely, I understand why they do it I would just prefer another way in Setting to not have it do that if you don’t want
I clipped the wires for ABS and removed the ABS motor module ‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️
Haha, that's a way too!

@@ScoutsOut definitely, let me know if you make it over 🤙🏼
So you guys got screwed again?
Only one out of 5 versions and even that one did not get the updated tft screen?
What the heck😅😅
I know right, I guess adv isn't that popular over here cause it seems only euro gets the updates lol
you forgot the wooden seat
Haha so true it’s not made for distance riding that’s for sure lol
odd ...my dash doesn't flop at all...
Hmm thats weird I haven’t seen one that doesn’t yet…that cool though!
That's not a 2023 Tenere.
It is in America. Only euro got the updates this year sadly
@@ScoutsOut ahh, that's too bad. The 23 has new ABS modes with front only option which would have been good.
Just take the ABS fuse out.
Yea that would work!
said "dope ass". was hard to take anything seriously
Ok… sry
