I am sure Matt and Mike know how simple the 30's Ford are put together and dismantling and reassembling many of them. Thank you for showing us the Museum and the stills at end, most notably how to handle at 15:50. 😮
You all were, in my area Northern Lake County (Fox Lake, IL) when you're up this way next time you always are welcome for a place to crash and get fed.
Morning Matt & Mike! You are so correct when leads don't seem to work out....the museum was awesome! Especially the vintage speed equipment! Thank you for sharing!
I enjoyed the beautiful early Fords in the museum. Nice to see so many different models, some that I had not seen before. If I ever get that way, I will surely have to stop there.
Its funny how Matt was walking through the museum with his hand on his chin and other hand supporting his elbow, making sure he wasnt tempted to touch anything
Nice. I grew up near Auburn, and been to the ACD and the Transportation Museum lots of times, but I didn't even know about the V8 Museum. I guess it's time for a trip back home.
Interesting concept filling the U-Haul Beautiful car is at the museum. Who won the setting on the large carpet rug, was nice. The carpet type rug is probably expensive in itself. But it acted has a nice contrast to the car.
Matt and Mike, if you guys bought the Lake County Pharaohs drag plate and plan to sell it I would be interested. I live in Cedar Lake close to CL road that Bernie spoke of. I would love to display it with my '38 at shows. Great visit to Early V8 museum also.
Your first stop there ---- didn't know it was Burney till later ------ with the view of the back of his head ------ it looked like you were talking to Mickey Rooney ----- about the same height ---- same color hair -- white ----- same bald spot on top ----- and not much neck ---- and then a slight turn of the head to the right ------ and it looked just like him ---------------- The Museum was really good wasn't it ----------- Although not much was had at the first stop ----- BUT ----- SURE had a lot to look at ----------- Thank you guys for the Video ----- Have a Good Week ----- See ya on your next one -------- Rodney
Unfortunately for everyone concerned, the stuff will get sold from the guy's estate. I did not know that the V8 Club had its museum in Auburn. I have been there often, now I have another reason to go.
"Not even for the asking price," you handled that crap well. At least you got a box truck to go to the Auburn museum. Yeah, I'm being sarcastic but I'm not as cool with that kinda junk. Anyway, safe and happy travels. Always a fan, Ray
Auburn is also the home of the Auburn, Cord, Duesenberg museum, and others. Totally worth a visit.
Yes we are aware. Didn’t have time to visit there this time.
That's what they're supposed to look like! I would never want to leave!

My buddys father inlaw was the museums designer... His car us on display there permanently..
I could spend days in that museum
Gotta love that stainless '36, but I have to say my all-time favourite Ford front grille
design is the '39 Standard.

josh at the museum is a great guy! been a member there for years! glad you got to make it to auburn indiana
Fantastic museum. It is nice to see the actual colours of the cars that are not black, some of the blues and greens really are incredible.
I have a 1930 model 170B that's two tone green with a apple green stripe between them
@@IEchuckie Nice. Living in the UK, most of the American cars we see are in old B&W films.
Matt and Mike thank you for the adventure and seeing some beautiful cars !
What an amazing museum, thanks for sharing that the more of it the better.
The V8 museum sure has changed since I was there quite a few years ago!
They’ve been working hard to expand!
Its funny how Matt was walking through the museum with his hand on his chin and other hand supporting his elbow, making sure he wasnt tempted to touch anything

Oh, man a 36 stainless?!?! How in depth can you go on one of them?
Twisting axles? Challenge accepted
Ford enthusiasts have a filing issue. The stuff is everywhere, but no one knows where to find it (except you guys, apparently).
