This time, it's the turn of The Amazing Spider-Man as we look through the first one hundred issues of the classic comic which celebrates its 60th anniversary this year.
What an incredible and iconic run of comics these are - quite superb.

Fantastic recap of all the classic covers. The UK reprints Spiderman Weekly comics were my 1st introduction to Spidey. I was totally hooked. Spiderman Vs Superman kingsize annual is the highpoint for me.
Romita more bold colourful artwork was what I grew up with and prefer.
But Ditko was the original classic master artist.

if I remember correctly the Superman Vs Spiderman was one of the oversized 'Treasury Edition' books, are card cover with fill colour comics throughout and about twice the size of a standard UK comic and much larger than the standard US ones.. I had them all but sold them in the early 1990s

Hello Jules really enjoyed this video been a DC collector since the late 1950s only found out how good marvel comics were in the last year thankfully l can buy marvel omnibus s purchased the spider man omnibus from Amazon in September over 1000 pages covers letter pages advert s not Finished reading it yet purchased a further 9 omnibus s since plenty to read and catch up on the omnibus is affordable l would not pay the price they ask for the originals.thanks again
I'm with you nowadays, I prefer those big omnibus editions but ultimately, it's those great stories that I love, in any format 🙂👍
