What is a "healthy" food that definitely should have made this list and why? Please share!

I've got one: Ensure by Abbott Nutrition. For me, this was the biggest sugar gut-bomb that I ever consumed in my life. I did not finish the entire small bottle and I'm still belching that overly-sweet vanilla flavor more than 24 hours later. This is a product given out in hospitals as a recovery food and advertised to seniors without a doubt.

I would love to see a video of you going through “healthy/unhealthy protein powders, protein bars, and meal replacement products along with maybe even weight loss supplements. I know for a fact that a lot of diet companies make their products with added sugar or added Chemicals

Ooh, love that idea. Especially protein companies and they market it as healthy :(

@@laceybaier_ Yes, please! I've had bariatric surgery AND I have Crohn's disease, so I really need to be careful, but I have to get 80+g protein/day, and protein powders are important to me.

Thank you for this informative video, Lacey! This just proves that processed foods are not the best for us because of all the additives! I make my own granola bars and applesauce and I will never go back to the store bought, processed stuff! Thank you so much for being an ambassador for healthy eating!

Thanks for sharing, Laura! Yea, those additives are in so many foods so it's really important to pay attention to them. That's awesome you make your own granola bars and applesauce!

I started using powdered peanut butter, which is very low in calories and without the oil. You can just mix with milk or water to create the buttery aspect 🙏

The only dried fruit I like is the "Just Mango" from trader joe's - no added sugar thank the Lord! It's funny, I ate a lot of these foods when I backpacked across the country and was trying to eat as high-calorie as possible since I was burning 5000+ calories a day! I can't even look at a Clif bar anymore, I got so burnt out on them.

Why is this stuff not illegal? Their pretending to be good for the average person who doesnt have nutritional knowledge to read a label and know how to tell.

I just want to say that it's the American people who ask for this stuff, case in point when Twinkies were being discontinued. The company produced 1million Twinkies a day. 400 million a year. That's 14 plants and 9,000 employees. Going with healthy foods? The government knows the Americans all to well. Just like era who don't give out to much good advise because most don't listen to it anyway. My boyfriend had a minor heart attach, still will eat a burger when the craving hits, not as much as before, but we are addicted.
