I didnt watch the race, only the highlights. After ONE lap with the 5 and 24 up front I just knew that those two cars would be up front all day. So I forwarded the video to the final lap and there they were. And THAT is why I start to not like Nascar anymore. Cars rarely seem to pass eachother, they simply spread out and drive around in circles. Only cautions brings them back together. After 3 laps you already know which car is going to win. Why bother with 500 laps?
Please get Kevin Harvick in the booth next year. I actually enjoyed the Xfinity race with his & Logano's commentary. They both were informative without trying to be cute/funny/entertaining.
My Dad immediately stopped watching the race cuz of the atrocious amount of commercials. Good thing we didn't watch the whole thing cuz apparently it was a snooze fest. Save your time and just watch the highlights after the race is over.

Obviously I wish there were less still - particularly when they're still running clear with no cautions - but it was interesting to see a commercial pop on and think "oh, yeah I guess it has been a while since one popped on" rather than the usual "am I watching a race with commercials or commercials with a race!?"

I don't know much about NASCAR but I just moved to Phoenix and I wanna get into it. Would you say the Phoenix track is one of the better ones or is it just average? It looks pretty cool but I don't know much about any of the other tracks.
@@-C.S.R For me, it's the coolest one. However, for NASCAR fans, there are many other circuits that they love. But personally, I find the Phoenix track awesome, with its bump at the bottom in the last two turns and the distant hills. I love the shape of this circuit. You're lucky; I live in France.

Since every race ends in "overtime" now, why not just have 2 lap races in the first place? That's all that matters today. Always miraculously an accident with less than 10 to go. Also, these "safer" single lug wheels are proving to be quite the opposite...

Spinning out is what caused the blowout, not the other way around. Blowing a right front would send you up the track into the wall, not down to the inside like Burton did.

Penske Fords dominated the last race at Phoenix. So Nascar had to bring a new "rules package" to help Hendricks and Gibbs.
Only Gibbs car that finished top 10 was Bell so not sure how it helped them.

It wasn't secure The lug nut was loose and More than likely the brake rotor cut away at the aluminum
