Not a Darrell Hammond fan, but he is a remarkable Sean Connery. Martin Short is great as Lewis. Norm is in a universe all by himself with whatever he does. The Burt Reynolds is beyond remarkable.
I remember once seeing an episode of the actual Jeopardy where all of the categories were replaced with the joke categories from these SNL skits. I wish I could find a clip of it.
I love how it starts off innocently. When Alex asked what the 1977 hit movie John Travolta starred it and Connery answered Jaws, it looked like something you'd see in real life Jeopardy!. Like the calm before the storm. Then everything else gets ridiculous.
It’s crazy to see the first episode and how it progressed into easier and easier clues and Sean being more and more raunchy about Trebek’s mom.

Benjamin Mankowski It begins with a bloody S
I said strong.
Other Celebrities: (overtalking each other, saying wrong things)
Alex Trebek: "NOOoooooo!!!!!"
I remember once seeing an episode of the actual Jeopardy where all of the categories were replaced with the joke categories from these SNL skits. I wish I could find a clip of it.

Rewatching to laugh at Turd Ferguson Burt Reynolds Norm rest in peace you hilarious bastard
Alex; “Popeye was one of these…”
Burt; “What is seamen?”
Connery; “It’s that stuff I left on Trebeck’s mother last night!”
Norm McDonald totally underrated
Totally
by who?
Norm McDonald as Burt is HILARIOUS, right up there with
Phil Hartman's Sinatra, just too
Damn Funny! 🎸💚
Burt Reynolds will live on a little while longer through Norm MacDonald's impressions.
Weird how all of these Celebrities Sean Connery, Burt Reynolds, Jerry Lewis, AND NOW Alex Trebek are all gone now. :(
I mean, this was 24 years ago all featuring celebrities most famous in the 60s and 70s
@@christiansenator So, that's how that shit works..
weird how the real alex and sean died so close together
I love how it starts off innocently. When Alex asked what the 1977 hit movie John Travolta starred it and Connery answered Jaws, it looked like something you'd see in real life Jeopardy!. Like the calm before the storm. Then everything else gets ridiculous.
Best Bert Reynolds ever!
"Burt can you please pick a category?"
"Pick swords."
"Yeah, sure, give me swords."
"It's S Words!! It's S Words!!"
LOL
I was mortified to hear Norm passed away today. I can't even count the number of hours he kept me laughing. R.I.P. sir!!
my thoughts exactly
1:40 If I remember correctly Alex that would be dancing for LADIES AHHH
This was just so hilarious makes me laugh so bad.
It's not that surprising that Turd Ferguson wouldn't be able to guess his own movie, since Kareem Abdul Jabbar missed his own line from Airplane.
