I have been working for several years to get a visa for a family member to come to the US. When I ask USCIS (immigration) the reason for the delays, I have been told by USCIS on several occasions that the delays are caused by "...the number of asylum requests that are being processed." . I have been working for several years to get a visa for a family member to come to the US. When I ask USCIS (immigration) the reason for the delays, I have been told by USCIS on several occasions that the delays are caused by "...the number of asylum requests that are being processed." . In other words if you are an American citizen you go to the back of the line........tell me this is not a US government sanctioned invasion.

I have a friend who works at property management company in SoCal. As an immigrant I really want to push for a change in terminology ....people going through the legal channels to enter and be in this country are immigrants......BUT people sneaking in or ignore legal ways in any way.....should really be called invaders... just like if someone would like to come into your home, knocks on the door and asks permission they would be guests....while the ones sneaking into open doors, windows, or even cat doors... they are invading the home, hence are invaders......it is not just to the legal immigrants to be thrown into the same terminology as those others....
