I bought Blonde on Blonde when it was first released in 1966. I am 10 months younger than Dylan so now 80 to his 81. I am so impressed to hear people who weren't even born when this was released, now attempting to sing it - and also to sing it in the same style and vocal intonations as Dylan himself. Not sure how he would re-act to that, but it pleases me simply because you haven't grown up with Dylan like I have and it impresses me that you should choose to sing Dylan being as young as you are. Is it because your mom/dad is a fan?
Very good ,young man ! You play it Well ! Total Respect! Good luck in your Life. These chords are important … From deep south of France, C.& Chelsea the Dog.
Just a wonderful cover of an iconic song. You deserve specific praise for Dylan- esque singing , your harmonica playing and as a hobbyist-guitarist I applaud you for your excellent left hand work with "slash chords"
Yeah boy, do I understand this! "Ain't it just like" me also, age 16 in Manhattan this song&album came out. Now I'd heard folk before (Van Ronk, Peter Paul & Mary, Weavers, Tom Lehrer &c.), some of it, a lot of it was ironic, but ->Not Like This
Nice job on the rhythm guitar, and your harp work is top shelf. For the vocals, it's a mistake that alot of players make when covering a Dylan tune. The good advice is and always has been, to sing Dylan in your own voice, not with the affectation of Dylan's vocal delivery. In other words, cover the tune, but not his vocal characteristics. I love seeing the young guns appreciating Dylan's work...and, your appreciation of Dylan will get stronger with time... I've been playing Dylan since 1964....can't imagine a world without him... Try some open D tunings for some of his tunes. Keep up the good work lad.
You swung for the fences, and hit this song out of the park. I've seen the complements about getting the harmonica right, but I'll repeat them. You got the nuances down verbatim. Thank you
Better than Dylan's own solo performance from 1966. You caught the groove from Blonde on Blonde. Perfect and you didn't let that one wrong chord throw ya. Great Job.
My favorite song of my favorite artist. You did an amazing job young man. Amazing. Get a bass player and a drummer and go make some money. I would drive a long way to hear you perform live.
Dylan was ranked the 7th best singer in popular music history by Rolling Stone. in 2008. They commented, "Dylan changed the very way people sang. No one tries to sing like Elvis. But 100's sing like Dylan. This a nice version bit it suggests the comment is a truism."
What key Harmonica do you use nick and also if you could quickly type the tabs out for it for the intro and the breaks inbetween the verse, that would be much appreciated, love this cover been listening to it for just under a year now all the time, easily the best visions of johanna cover on here, that harmonica playing.. man.

The harmonica is exactly right on target. You catch Dylan’s vocal technique. You are ready to be in a Dylan cover band.
One of the best covers of Bob Dylan, and definitely the best cover of this song out there
Exactly sung in bob dylans fashion. Without all the nonsense crooning and tension so many cover artists do. It dilutes the lyricism. Bravo
