Just for that fact to put in the mind, Struggle does 1/4 of max HP and is intended as a "sudden death" move to force and ensure the Pokemon to eventually faint, And Struggle also counts as a contact move which triggers Sharpedo's Rough Skin, which deals another 1/8 of max HP damage, meaning the damage total stacks to 3/8, which is enough to ensure a Pokemon will faint in 3 turns Disable lasts for at least 4 turns; and Taunt lasts for at least 3 turns. Any pokemon can ensure their opponent will faint with Disable as long as they have enough HP to withstand 4 Struggles in a row, Sharpedo only needs to withstand 3 and can also use Taunt to ensure their opponent will eventually faint. So basically, if Sharpedo used Taunt, Disable, Imprison or Torment, it basically won as long as it has enough HP. Sharpedo just have only merely a slight advantage over other Pokemon in this regard; it's still RNG based to roll one of these moves, and it's very possible a battle could go wrong as the opponent hitting it with a strong super-effective move (For reference: Sharpedo is weak to Grass, Electric, Bug and Fighting). Also, I swear I haven't seen splash in the tournament so far until this video
Also, the start of the Teddiursa vs Glalie battle "The stage is set and the curtain is up!" "The Red Corner makes th first attack!" *"But, it missed!"* *"Both corners' moves failed!"* "The situation is a bit of a stalemate! It's a mental tug-of-war as they anticipate each other's moves." So relatable for metronome battles
Out of all Pokémon remaining in Bracket A, which is your favourite to win the bracket?
In my opinion, 2 actually. Rattata beating Pelipper, & Sharpedo beating Mewtwo.
@@adrielboomaa Rattata and Sharpedo will be facing each other in Round 3, so only one of your picks will remain going into Round 4.
@@Auke1993 That's completely fine! Those Metronome battles were fun to watch!
Definitely Obama with his signature, Obamehameha.
Rattata, Shedinja, Registeel, Dragonite, or Togepi
At this point I'm hoping that Rattata wins the tournament
I wish you and Rattata good luck.
It felt like Latias and Machop were just playing with each other😂
Yeah, that match took a while.

Rough Skin is probably one of the better abilities, alongside things like Snow Warning and Sand Stream.
I find comical how common Doom Desire shows up in these
A few weeks ago it showed up so much.
It's not as common now, but it's still around on occasion.

Yup. It can happen a lot.
