【Introduction】When Shi Yi (Played by Bai Lu), a sweet, low-key but talented voice actress, meets the elegant Zhou Shengchen (Played by Allen Ren), an oversea returnee chemistry professor, at the airport for the first time, they felt a sense of familiarity. everyone says zhou sheng chen is nerdy and doesn't know anything but i think he only tries to play his role where he needs to be ...
like he knows what his brother does but doesn't pin point it before like giving him chance or putting up with him as long as the rest of the family is not hurt but as soon as two members of the family got hurt he confronts him....i like him ...he is not loud or cold just gentle...not scared to have weaknesses

It may sounds harsh, but every single words that madam Zhou said to Shiyi was correct, it was the truth. Something that even her own husband never dare to admit honestly to her. He still kept many things hidden from her. His reason is understandable but still, it is unfair to keep the truth hidden from her.
She has the right to know then can she decide whether she still wants to persist living with him or not. The nervousness displayed by his hand movement was exactly because he knows that his stepmother is stating a fact. This is what he fears too.
He is worried that Shiyi would really give up on him if she knew the whole truth about his family.
The complicated Zhou family is really not suitable for her personality, and the position as a clan head and be a businessman is not something suitable for ZSC either, that's why it is right for madam Zhou to say that Shiyi is indeed the most perfect wife for ZSC as a person... but she is not the best candidate for a matriarch of the Zhou family.
It's just that there is an X-factor that madam Zhou doesn't know.

其實我覺得周生辰母親對時宜說的那番話確實沒錯，要在ㄧ個大家庭裡掌管家族中一切的所有事務，的確是需要手腕的，不是一般人可以應付的，不然會死的很難看。
還有，周生辰從ㄧ開始就瞞着時宜所有的事情……他當初選她訂婚講白了也就是利用和她訂婚結婚而取得繼承他爸爸的遺產及周家的財產主導權，而不是因為感情事，他也是有他的心機及打算，只是出發點是善良好的而已。然後他也很聰明的把時宜撇于鬥爭之外，但是別人並不這麼想，所以時宜還是成為文川文幸兩兄妹奪產之下的受害者……只是她命大都能化險為夷，最後換來個兩人一生相守。

I quite pitied Shiyi for choosing ZSC. She gave unconditional love for him while he offers divided attention between her and his so called families. A very understanding wife.
