【Introduction】When Shi Yi (Played by Bai Lu), a sweet, low-key but talented voice actress, meets the elegant Zhou Shengchen (Played by Allen Ren), an oversea returnee chemistry professor, at the airport for the first time, they felt a sense of familiarity. I can't stop watching this drama.. I have been watching over and over again but couldn't get enough of it.. I love how Chen little brother Ren really like shiyi and bonded so well.. He is the youngest yet very mature and very understanding❤
Ren, like Chen, missed the warmth, love & care of a mother...both having lost their birth moms at a very young age. Shi Yi represents all the traits & personality of a warm, caring & loving person!

Bai Lu is no doubt the budding superstar. Her acting in both One-and-Only and Forever-and-ever completely brought the viewers into her world in the drama. You don't feel that Bai Lu is acting in her character. Instead she is just being her very self - so natural. Bai Lu has both inner and outer beauty and girl like that is getting very rare in today's world.

Did Shi Yi have surgery to remove her appendix? Appendicitis is considered a medical emergency but they never take her to a hospital. Antibiotics can cure appendicitis if it's a mild case, but it's still requires emergency treatment. I don't get it.
Still I'm enjoying the series. I guess I'll just put my blinders on.
I almost finishing reading the translation novel. Her "appendix" is actually due to slow poisoning done by someone in this household. I was surprised that it didn't mentioned here in the drama. No surgery because she's not having real appendix here
