Featuring a guest appearance from Broadway's original "Aladdin," Adam Jacobs.

I love her sense of humor and the fact that she doesn’t take herself too seriously. She made my childhood as Odette’s singing voice in Swan Princess. I’m so thankful for her talent.
Can we talk about how gorgeous "Far Longer Than Forever" is? I feel like it never gets nearly enough credit as it should...the delicate piano, Liz's voice...what perfection. Just a great song.

Lots of people audition: but I suspect she got a lot further than a lot of the others!
The kicker is that eventually, she got *all of them.* :D
But she still made her way into our hearts by becoming the singing voice of many great Princesses!

She’s a Disney Princess now...with Disney’s $71.3 billion purchase of Fox, Anastasia is now a Disney Princess...let’s see if Disney will actually recognize her and welcome Anastasia to the Disney family! LOL
Caleb Barrus they won’t =\ Disney purposely went out of their way to try and keep Anastasia unsuccessful when it premiered. They are much more likely to minimize her than add her to the line up BUT I think they should because she’s kind of the best (:

@@nameyourchannel838 Well Don Bluth left and took half the staff with him. He was very important at Disney and left. He also intentionally released his movies the same day as Disney released theirs. so both sides were petty I think.

I always got confused listening to that part in the song because that line sounded so beautiful, I thought it was the woman already singing Belle. Now knowing it was Liz Callaway, it makes sense why it was so beautiful.

Swan Princess is really flawed even if it has moments. Anastasia is on Disney level however which makes sense since Bluth used to work for Disney. I would not say it’s better than average however.
Ugh when she sang Love Will Find a Way, endless TEARS. That song is so gorgeous.

Liz Callaway is absolutely my fave voice to have ever come out of Broadway. So clear and pristine, even as she ages. She literally taught me how to sing in those roles.

When she started to sing "Out of Thin Air" I had this intense shock of memory. I don't remember watching the Aladdin sequel when I was a kid but I must have because all of a sudden I realized that I know all the words to this song. She did such an amazing performance of it. I love this video.
I was SO SAD when she cut off Once Upon A December *right at the crescendo* and thEN SHE PICKED IT RIGHT BACK UP AT THE END THANK YOU JESUS 😭
Pretty sure she was genuinely happy for Lea with Aladdin but was a tad angry and disappointed when she didn’t get it so she channeled it into her performance of Ellen in Miss Saigon

I've been a long time fan of Liz Callaway, but even I didn't know she sang the "Good day!" part in Belle. Ever since I was a kid, I thought that was just a little cameo line that Paige O'hara contributed because it sounded like a Disney princess voice lol

Woah I didn't know she auditioned for Belle, Ariel, Jasmine, Pocahontas and Swan Princess! And that she sang Love will find a way as Nala too! and she sang those lines in Bonjour also, she's so funny and her voice is so well taken care of :) such a gem.
Liz Callaway is my favorite person. Just seeing someone be real and raw about what show business takes but who is also happy and positive and thrilled at all opportunities she did get is just wonderful. It's like therapy but in youtube video form. lol
I feel like the most impressive thing to me in this video is that she does that Gaston riff from Belle. It's such a nice sounding verse.

I put Liz Callaway pretty high up on the list of "names people should know but probably don't" in theatre, along with Judy Kuhn and Donna Murphy.
I never knew she was Kiara. I only knew her from Anastasia. She voiced all my favorite characters and Love will find the way is always my favorite.

I thought that "Good Day!" was Liza Callaway in Beauty and the Beast! Just goes to show how recognisable her voice is. She's preserved her voice so beautifully, it's been so many years since her original recordings and there is still a very youthful clarity and resonance to her voice.
