The movie Pocahontas....also has two different people singing. The song Colors of the Wind is sung by Judy Kuhn. But the voice character of Pocahontas is Irene Bedard. I was shock just like you because they sound identical. I have both movies and still watch them.

I love how her character is written in a way that is she brave and wants to be loved for who she is, but still retains the feeling of being a feminine princess.
I love Odette, adored this movie as a child - I love that she wont settle for just being loved for appearances, she's very feminist - but is forgiving, so grounded, caring and brave - she defiantly holds her ground against evil, doesnt sacrifice her values

Me and my sister actually got to meet her and hear her sing at this thing called ArtSpeak, which allows Theatre actors to come and speak to high school students, apparently she was back by popular demand. She sang Once Upon A December, Journey To The Past, Memory from Cats, and this funny song making fun of Stephen Sondheim. When we met her she was really nice 👍🏼

I have to admit, I was enchanted as a child from every piece of that movie. I loved Prince Derek, but I loved Odette's fierceness more. I had no idea that there was a collaborative effort to voice Odette, and it truly blows me away, because it's impossible to tell. A childhood favorite that I'll cherish forever, I can say I would likely tear up, too, if I heard Liz Callaway sing in person.
Love this movie. I bought the dvd and now my daughter watches it. Gotta continue the tradition 😎 same with Anastasia movie. 🥰

She's my ultimate favorite princess singing voice! Technically she's better than Jodi Benson, much closer to Lea Salonga, but I like Liz's high notes better. She's so gracious and endearing.

The Swan Princess changed my childhood. It should have been much bigger than it was. Maybe a re-release would do it well. Now, it is my 6 yr old daughters favorite movie. She named her Valentines day stuffed animal (a swan with a pink crown) Odette, because shes the swan princess. Love you Liz! ❤❤
