  • Since you only have 6 guesses in the game of Wordle, you will want your first guess to be the most powerful, that is, giving you the most clues. There are many opinions about what the best starting word in Wordle is, this video gives a breakdown of the best starting words and why they may or may not work. Four different starting words are used as a test on 4 games.

I love them both. I used to be big into Scrabble so Wordle has much appeal to me. I prefer arose as my first word and then until (if it is easy mode) or I add at least one common consonant and one common vowel to the whatever was right in the first guess (in hard mode). I think the second guess is actually more important than the first one.
I would be interested in collaborating with your channel at some point in the future. Thanks for sharing your results on Wordle.

Thanks Smart Hobbies. I'm open to collaborating with you. I am busy during the Fall and Spring semesters, but I am open during the Summer break, let me know what you have in mind?

I'm very new to Wordle, but so far I've had better luck starting with a random word than with one of the "favored" words. It is entertaining for a quick couple of minutes, but I also still prefer Sudoku, where I can see improvements to my logical skills over time.

I agree, I've had success with random words like "water" as well. Thanks for the comment!

i have to agree with you. if you dont speak english, you are eliminated from enjoying wordle, as you dont have the needed vocabulary. so? sudoku is much better. as it dont requires any language knowledge. :). i am blind, and due to your detailed explanations, descriptions, i am starting to learn to play and enjoy sudoku. thanks for your great work. keep it up! :)

Hello Michal, that's a very good point, I know the New York Times also prints in Spanish, but I don't know if Wordle is available in other languages. I'm glad you are able to enjoy Sudoku and that you are learning to play, the more you play, the better you will get at it. You probably have a good memory, which helps along with the logic skills. Thanks for the beautiful comment, I appreciate it!
