Hi. Great video, thank you. Does anyone know how to edit the config file if your SSD card was etched using a MAC and the file system read only to the MAC system? Can you install on the rig and edit once the rig is up and running?
@@oldmantuc5771 I dont man im sorry!!! You could install windows on the mining rig and then install it on the ssd that way then reboot to that drive. Just a thought!

ALSO WHEN YOU INITIALLY DOWNLOAD HIVEOS YOU MAY NEED EXTRACT THE FILE BEFORE YOU CAN FLASH IT. DEPENDING ON THE DEVICE YOUR FLASHING IT COULD TAKE MINUTES OR AN HOUR.... USB TAKE A BIT TO FLASH WITH AN OS SYSTEM!!

Nice👍 I am finally setting up my 3080 gaming rig. And I’m on the fence of buying a bunch of more rigs because I am getting about 30 grand from a family member passing away last year unfortunately. Great update to the last one, just one thing that wasn’t so clear. The ‘Worker’ set up was skipped over? Is this picked up when the usb with hiveos is plugged into the rig and it has recognised the cards? Or do you set them up in hiveos first? Thanks again.

txt edit is locked (saying read only). How do I change it to edit so I can copy and paste the hash farm into rig.conf?
Then, when you saved it as "all files" instead of ".txt", what should it look like on Mac? There is no option "all files" appearing to me... Thank you so much
U said in the video to restart the rig after overclock adjustment . Can i restart from hiveos or from the mobo ?
