I'm only 3 minutes in and I just had to comment. Although I'm not currently mining due to customs problems I've recently had transporting my GPUs, I honestly believe mining has a very bright future and I know I'll keep building this business. Go GPU HEADZ!
The core voltage table is: 600 606 612 618 625 631 637 643 650 ... and so on (3 steps 6 mvolts, 1 step 7 mvolts). Before lowering core voltage, I set first vddci and mvvd at max (850 1350). Then I start lowering vddci until your hashrate drops or gpu crashes. Once you find your lowest vddci, you can drop the core voltage in 12 mvolts steps until the gpu crashes, then I rise 6 mvolts the core voltage until its stable. Finally I lower mvvd in 25 steps until the gpu crashes (all of this with soc 850. Droping to 800 you get 2 volts less. This is the last thing I do)
Is it possible to translate the settings from HiveOS to Windows (MSI Afterburner)? I have a 6 XFX 6600 (non-xt) rig that is on HiveOS but I have a XFX 6700 XT on Windows. I'm mining Neoxa on all GPUs and find that the 6700 XT will do a weird glitch were it just starts scrolling and I have to close and reopen miner. Trying to get it were it doesn't to it and I'm sure it is my settings in Afterburner. Also with the XFX 6600 rig I have, 4 cards are Hynix and 2 are Micron memory. The Micron settings are way more finicky and I haven't been able to lower the wattage usage with them. Do you happen to have a suggestion for clocks on HiveOS for the Micron memory? Thank you for your videos! Kiwi has a great channel as well. Been surfing his channel the last few weeks.
I remember Sebs video on how he can’t wait until the merge is complete, so he can just move on with mining other coins….. I’m so curious if he’s super happy now that the merge is near??? Most miner are pretty down about it as far as I’ve seen.

Can you explain more about the memory clock setting to 1073. I have been running at 1075 with out a Soc VDD setting but now if I use the SoC VDD of 840 I need to lower memory clock. How exactly are the settings linked?

Hi, are you sure that r-mode worksa for KAwpaw? i checked their discord channel and they said it is only for ethash! and your hivedhell does not show R mode! it is B mode! kindly clarify if I am missing something! I have spent a whole day trying to getting it to work until I found that it will never work because r-mode is only for ETHASH :(
I desperately need to find out how to do this on windows. I have 30+ 6600s and they do great and always have and if I can get some more efficiency out of them I would be ecstatic
I just would like to point out that these overclocking values won't necessarily work on all RX 6700 XT, some of these cards are incredibly finicky and silicon lottery is absolutely real with this lineup :$

Ok so I have $1200 and I wanna start mining, never done it before so absolutely no experience. I've reading up as much as I can past couple days to buy my GPU and set up my rig and I thought maybe if I asked you would be able to help me figure something out that's bugging me.. So look this is where I'm stuck, I have my $1200 and I was going to buy a 3090 but then I started reading a bit on different gpus trying to see if that was the smartest thing to do and I saw most people say the 3060ti is one of the overall best mining GPU and so I looked up the hashrate on nicehash and it says the 3090 has a 114 and 3060ti has 60 but I don't know how accurate that is.. So basically now I'm thinking to myself, would it be best if I bought 2 3060ti or just get the 1 3090? Now I see your video saying AMD might be even better but I've never even looked up any AMD cards yet so sheesh I was like fuck it let me ask and see if I can get some advice to save me from making a mistake lol. Sooo since you seem to have good experience with mining, what do you think I should do? Get the 2 3060ti? Get the 3090? Or idk maybe you have an even better card I haven't heard of yet? If you could help me out I'd really appreciate it dude cus it's like the more I try to read into it the more confused I get with all the different options lmao
Cards don’t degrade from doing work. They degrade from temperatures shifting up and down, which causes things to shrink and expand on a microscopic level which eventually leads to things wearing down and degrading. If you have a temperature controlled mining rig with proper cooling that will not happen.

Just added 2 6600's to my rig. My fav GPU. I'd ratter have 6600XT's, but price difference is not worth the price increase.

I really hope they can put in some work on the Flux algo for AMD cards. They are way better priced in my country than Nvidia

Why does my HiveOS config does show Core Voltage and Memory controller voltage options? It is RTX 2060 super.

What's the best overclocks for redeon rx 470 8gb. I hear some people can get then to run at 80 to 85 watts.

Why compare a 6700xt to a 3070 and not a 3060
Because the 3070 is more efficient than a 3060 on ravencoin.
