I think they are a good buy, especially if you can get them now and start the march to break even and then possibly sell them in the bull run when they balloon back up in price.

Till the end! I may buy one because while I have a single rig with 6 cards, I like mining and am intrigued by the mining only cards. I got one of the 1060 based cmp cards used for $39 just for giggles. This would make another nice addition, along side the reasons you mentioned lol.

Hey RP great video, always great to get intel on gpu prices and hash rates. Just an fyi for Dynex, the command --dynex-cpu-pow will revert the miner to use insane amounts of CPU power bottlenecking your system if you try to scale. Using a single GPU to test is fine, but when u run more on a rig you’ll get insane LA and you wont post to the pool.
Can you make a video on how to buy GPUs from Alibaba, did you require any import/export certificate to get the items?
We mined ETH with all the asic's and fpga's we can mine KASPA same way in the future ... maybe. KASPA going to be #3. :)

50HX is a turing chip, similar die to a 2080
Kind of why I’m stacking 2070 supers, 2080ti right now. They’re really cheap not the most efficient. 200 dollar 2070 supers, and 300 dollar 2080ti.
Seriously conflicted now. 1 hour ago, I added 13 to my cart.. now I am wondering instead if I should get mobile instead. The 30x0 are a little more expensive, but they might be more than double the value as they are 30 series with greater over-all efficiencies..

There is a HUGE difference in estimated daily profit (zero electricity cost) by the NiceHash profit calculator between a CMP 50HX at 22 cents/day and a rtx 2080ti at 77 cents/day. Does this sound accurate? 🤔

i have 3 cmp 50hx cards, working very good mining DNX and NEXA. still in the struggle to find a more efficient overclocking. Anyone there to help with an overclocking that has already been tested and is very efficient?

Why didn't you do any power limits especially on Dynex?
-gpu-coffset setting is all you need for that to lower power.

What's funny is, when you look back on it, ASICs didn't kill the network on ETH. It's daily emissions was just so much higher that it could handle a ton of ASICs and still have enough left to give out to us little guys (the home miners without ASICs).

how much power goes into making a gpu compared to the amount of extra energy it uses compared to its modern equivalent. might include the amount of energy it takes to recycle the old one in with the energy it takes to make one. idk lol
I'm also buying with that same company! What is your agent? I had some great exp with them in my last batch of 16 gpus, they allowed me to try to repair a damaged card still honoring that it arrived broken. I managed to do some soldering magic and now i have a working card without spending money on shipping it back.

WATCHED TILL THE END, going to be honest im not a fan of those gpus at those prices, at least here in the states if your persistent and know where to look, you can get 30 series gpus are pretty good prices. Especially if your buying off miners looking to get out. Now is the time to make your farm as efficient as possible, even if it means selling some of your old hardware, because while the prices of your gpus are lower then if you sold earlier, prices are lower for gpus you would have had to pay more on in the past! Personally im down to almost all 30 series minus a few big navis that I have left.
