Great teaching thank you. I find myself guilty of this. To be a Christ follower and a Chief of Police I find myself to much into the world right now. I have to get back to my Bible where I love to learn.
Where it breaks down is, there seem to be plenty of people who don’t humble themselves who are exalted, and people who do nothing but humble themselves, and are not exalted
Unfortunately i do feel like i know someone who at times behaves like the Pharisee in the parable. This one middle aged guy at my congregation who's father was a preacher is always getting up there bragging about how many people he's talked to about the gospel yet I've never seen one of these people ever show up with him at worship service. Doesn't really use scripture in any sermon and then judges the rest of us saying unless you save at least one soul, you're going to be punished. The Bible doesn't teach that. It teaches to plant seeds. God will take care of the rest. Whenever he speaks it always reminds me of this parable.
@@FoundedInTruth I tend to have a different philosophy on the Bible. Many will say it changes or hinges from the Old Testament to the New Testament. My belief is the change or hinge happens in Genesis 1:31. Everything thing after that is God reconciling the world back to Genesis 1:31 again. 😁
@@jthomas5226 Hey J, we believe God has had a plan to reconcile creation back to Himself and that is what the entire Bible is about. Ultimately, this happens in the person of Yeshua. Thanks!
hey i strayed away from the path and recently accepted Jesus Christ as my true lord and savior. I was wondering if it is fine if I pray to Yeshua as in all the videos I've seen it is his true name. I'd really appreciate a response. god bless.
RYAN H. Yes, Jesus, Yeshua, as long as you are praying to our Lord and Saviour, our all loving but just God then go ahead. Yeshua is just the Hebrew name of Jesus I believe ? Not sure
