      Yep, Father Yah said that they're His feasts. He literally called the Israelites out of slavery in Egypt to celebrate His feast and to observe the Sabbath, two things that unfortunately have been forgotten in mainstream Christianity. It's sad, because those holy days of Yah are commands on how we love Him specifically.

    Definitely a good explanation of each individual feast day! One conflict I’m having is when is the Sabbath day? In Exodus 20:8-11 it clearly states the 7th day as Sabbath, Saturday.

      @krystianSpindler; Good point! We were misled for centuries by Jesuits etc into 'sunday' worship (literally sun-worship) which contradicts God's law, (don't get me started on that...🤦‍♂️!) Personally, I observe the Sabbath from sundown friday to sundown on saturday, but I believe our Jewish brothers and sisters tend to observe until at least three stars can be seen in the sky on the saturday. Being Christian and not Jewish I don't follow any of the strict orthodox Sabbath doctrine of course (which came from the Talmud and Mishnah) but instead just do it in 'my own kind of way' in obedience to the Lord, using that time to focus on Him & study the Bible and during this time I won't wash up or do any cleaning etc. Since observing Sabbath I've felt greater peace and connection with our Lord Jesus Christ, it just feels right! God bless you 🙏

      .... Their time is whacked, they thought a year was 360 days at first... Then 364...then 365. It's actually 365.25... So in short... The Roman Calendar is correct. Even the book of Jubilees prophecies state that the ppl will follow the moon and mess up their days, and mess up their sabbath... Sunday is correct.

    The four spring feasts were prophetic and were apparently fulfilled with precise timing during the passover meal, crucifixion, resurrection, and Pentecost. Since the timing was so precise, it seems reasonable to expect the three autumn feasts to also fit chronologically in a precise way. However, the day of atonement would seem to be connected with the atonement that has already been made in Christ's crucifixion during passover. It raises the question about whether the feasts have all been fulfilled already, or if three are still to come as some Christians believe.

    • @michelepascoe6068
      @michelepascoe6068 2 года назад +3

      The Day of Atonement prophetically represents the Day of Judgement after our Messiah's second coming and before we tabernacle/dwell with Him on the new earth forever, prophetically foretold in Sukkot/ Festival of Shelters. Our atonement was made at that Passover when He was crucified. Interestingly, the Day of Atonement was the only appointed time when the people stayed home and fasted, fully relying on the work of the high priest, and bringing no offering to the Temple. Just so, we can offer nothing towards our atonement, but rely fully on the finished perfect work of Yeshua our Great High Priest. We must be in Him to survive Judgement Day. So I believe the spring festivals were fulfilled at His first coming and the autumn ones will be at His second, and we are in the time between. Shalom.

    The scripture in 1st Corinthians 5 is clearly an analogy (started from verse 6), not an invitation to celebrate a feast, the fact that he (and others) try to use it to convince Christians to celebrate the feast is very telling.

    • @victorvanvyver6394
      @victorvanvyver6394 2 года назад

      Sabbaths and feasts aren't compulsary, but voluntary. So if you want to keep it to celebrate it is ok. However as a new testament believer we always should keep it as unto Christ, as at passover thank Him for His sacrifice etc.

    Very good. Also, re Pentecost which commemorated the giving of the Torah on Mt Sinai: Then, it was written in stone; now it is written on our hearts by the Holy Spirit; Then, the mountain shook and there was thunder and a trumpet blast; now, the "whole house shook" (probably the Temple where Jews from all the countries were and where there were plenty of baptism baths); Then, Jewish tradition says that God spoke His Torah in the all the languages of the world (70 at that time) and the words appeared as flames which rested on the heads of His people; now, flames rested on the Messianic believers heads and they spoke the good news of the Messiah in all the languages represented there. They would have recognised the signs and 1,000's believed and were baptised.

      Christians who loves the truth will stop Celebrating pagan holidays as soon as they are warned

    • @amoscorvus
      @amoscorvus 3 года назад +4

      Great questions. You are right, many so called "Christian" holidays were mixed with pagan holidays. For example Christmas, which is based on Winter Solistice celebrations like the Roman "Sol Invictus". Many symbols, also the Christmas tree are based on ancient religious practices from Babylon [google christmas tree babylon origin]. Some say those festivities/symbols were kept/interwoven with Christianity by Roman leaders, for the fact, that this would have made it easier for the Pagans to switch their religion to Christianity. Others say, that it was done to create an antichristian counterreligious movement.
      It is a cultural and traditional thing that we celebrate it today, not a biblical one. That's qiute sure I think. Many people find it very hard to let go of Christmas, because of the beautiful memories connected with it. I think that many people are not being 100% honest and consequent about that.
      Did you know, there is a high chance that Jesus/Yeshua was born in March/April or September/October [hard to explain, google "jesus birth date zechariah elizabeth pregnant" for more].
      Did you also know that there were times, when Christmas was outlawed in some places in the early years of the USA?
      While I try to use "holiday season" as an door opener to talk with people about God, me personally and quite some brothers and sisters I know do not celebrate Christmas or Easter for the fact that they are in part rooted in pagan traditions [no, we are not Jehovas Witnesses], we celebrate Passover and the Feast of Unleavened Bread, also some other jewish traditions and feasts, that clearly point to Yeshua [which means "God saves" btw.] being the "Anointed One", the Massiah, "The Son [not sun] of Man".
      That being said, let me clarify the following:
      1)As mentioned before: there is a deep connection between Jewish holidays and Jesus. All Jewish feasts are pointers to Jesus. Passover for example is strongly interconnected with the "Last Supper" and the death of Yeshua [and his later resurrection] as the "real" Lamb of God [please google "connection Jesus Passover" for more details].
      2) Jesus is the fulfillment of laws and holidays in the Old Testament. He did not erase any bit of what has been said, BUT he brought all the laws into the right perspective [google: "Jesus fulfilling the law" and "Jesus new covenant"]
      For example; as mentioned before Jesus as the "Passover Lamb".
      While it is beautiful and of great personal benefit to keep those biblical feasts, KEEPING THEM DOES NOT SAVE YOU! ONLY FAITH IN YESHUA DOES! Things like holidays should not be a stumbling stone.
      The majority of Jewish believers do not agree that Jesus is the Massiah. But there are other Jewish groups (so called messianic Jews and related ones) who agree that Yeshua is indeed the Massiah.
      There are quite some debates in the New Testament about if we are to observe Jewish traditions, like tithing, circumcision, keeping Sabbath [which I personally love to do]. The Bible says that it is a conscience thing basically. Every day is a "holy" day, some people keep the Sabbath if it is layed in their hearts. Others do not and are still justified in the eyes of our loving God through Jesus being resurrected after his death on Golgatha.
      If you have the chance to find a messianic Jewish congregation, give them a call, visit them, celebrate with them, it can give you some great insights on God, faith and the beauty of God's prophecies. There is this wonderful metaphora in the Bible; of an old olive tree [Israel] and a branch of a wild olive tree [the non-Jews/ex-Pagans/Christians] which was grafted into the old olive tree [Romans 11:24]. We are all welcome to be God's children, if we "circumcise our hearts" and believe in Yeshua.
      We have the same God, eventhough we have different cultural roots. All we have to do is to accept Jesus as the Son of God, who was with God, and was God [John 1:1 and John 1:14] before anything was created. Sounds confusing at first but makes perfect sense when you learn more about God and His plan.
      I think it is beautiful to understand the roots of the "old olive tree", and be part of the bigger picture.
      The following is the most important commandment we have to keep:
      "One of the teachers of the law came and heard them debating. Noticing that Jesus had given them a good answer, he asked him, “Of all the commandments, which is the most important?”
      29 “The most important one,” answered Jesus, “is this: ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one.30 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’[b] 31 The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these.” - Mark 12:28
      Please also read
      Jeremiah 31:31
      Isiah 53
      Isiah 9:6
      I really hope this helps!
      God bless you.
      Shalom!

      @@amoscorvus wow Amos, thank you for this very informative post. Please clarify if needed 🙏thanks again

      @@omedina2011 Hey Olgie! A pleasure to help.
      " I figured that if I wanted to follow old Testament laws, I would have to follow all of them." This is absolutely right! It is basically [also technically] impossible to follow all the laws. An example: What about the sacrifices that had to be made in the Temple in Jerusalem according to the books of Moses... The Temple was destroyed around 1950 years ago. So, how can you fulfill this law? You failed one commandment, you failed them all... But that's where the "grace", Yeshuas death and resurrection takes over... Yeshua was/is the sacrificial lamb, who is of more importance than all animal sacrifices...
      Romans 6:14 "For sin shall no longer be your master, because you are not under the law, but under grace."
      This verse is certainly no invitation to commit sins, the Old Testament laws are of great help to distinguish right from wrong, but The Most High is more pleased by the way our heart changes in His direction, or how we treat the poor, the sick... That's way more important than wearing a beard, or what we eat, or if we keep the Sabbath.
      Again: It is great to understand and do those things, but it is more important to "circumcise the heart" than the body [Deuteronomy 30:6].
      May God's Spirit guide you!
      Shalom

    Servant of YHWH here, with the Spirit ~ most people don't understand. Bcus they have eyes that won't see. WE ARE SPIRITUAL JEWS. Not outward Jews. We keep the Passover. Bcus it signifies the exodus but mostly bcus it's what "Christ in you" COMMANDED. Keep YESHUA'S commands as he kept HIS FATHER'S and you will BY FAITH keep the LAW without trying which in turn fulfills all righteousness. His commands include every YESHUA said. Repentance, baptism FULLY SUBMERGED in water in the name of the Father, Son & Holy spirit+ receive the Holy spirit by the laying on of hands (or pray for it/the gift, as God said "If you being evil know how to give good gifts, how much more the Holy spirit to those who ask." Let the Spirit of sanctification work. Trust in YHWH/Philippians 1:6 and Proverbs 3:5-6. If it isn't in the bible, its a lie. Don't add to or take away from God's perfect word. Stop calling him Jesus. It's Yeshua and only Yeshua (Acts 4:12). Jesus is a parable for fake Half-Hearted seekers. Weeds out the posers:) Jeremiah 29:13. I love you all more than you'll ever know. PS once baptized/born again, get out of "denominations" & sects. Keep the faith/confidence in God's promise. Know that you're going to heaven as long as you call on the name of the Lord. Don't be the one who says "Lord Lord didn't I do all these works in YOUR NAME???" And he'll say "I never knew you. Get off my daddy's porch." :/ I hope & pray for all people. That we all may come to the knowledge of God's never-ending mercy and the GRACE of the gift of His Son YESHUA

    Rosh Hashanah is not on trumpets. Otherwise the 8th month would be the 2nd month. Nothing more than rabinnical teachings. Otherwise good video.

      Hey Jose,
      You don't believe the fall rains start the agricultural new year as the video states? We welcome an explanation.

    Scripture abuse in this video!
    1 Corinthians 5:6, 8 was taken absolutely out of context! The apostle Paul is talking about removing the immoral from their assembly. The Corinthians instead were boasting with this wickedness in their midst. Notice the speaker skipped verse 7. “Clean out the old leaven so that you may be a new lump, just as you are in fact UNLEAVENED. For Christ our Passover also has been sacrificed.”
    Paul is not teaching the Corinthians or Gentile Christians to keep a festival or a Jewish Passover as taught by Moses.
    This whole video is just pure legalism and is condemned in scripture.

      If obeying the law of the land makes you good citizen. What do you call a person who obey the torah(instructions) of God? Yeshua(Jesus) is the first fruit of the Ressurrection and those who obey his commandments (which the same commandments of God) becomes the children of God as well in the end times. Those who conquer the world(sinfullness/lawlessness) will be saved. Yeshua is our example, (He said come follow him). What is there to follow? OBEDIENCE TO GOD.
      You are either Yeshua's follower or Paul's (based on your false understanding on his letters).

      Gentile means out of covenant with God. All that being grafted in talk is important to meditate on. The tree without fruit Jesus cursed.
