I am 29 and now realizing omg, I should probably recognize, acknowledge and celebrate this...Its weird why more Christians don't...whats up with that, I have been in churches all my life and never hear anyone talking about this...I feel so..I dunno lol love the video and I definitely going to start learning about this and catching up. Gonna be celebrating for the first time this year
I have started to celebrate this last year and God miraculously moved in my life.My house should have burned down but God protected us and manifested His power!I'm grateful for God for His deliverance and His presence that changes things. In this 8 days I also dedicated myself unto the Lord as we are temples of the Holy Spirit and I could feel His anointing and power taking my body over
I am Jewish, I love Hanukkah but it’s actually one of the least important holidays. But I love the food and spending time with my family and I don’t even KNOW how many times I have heard the story lol
I ask in my heart of hearts, that your channel will show great glory to god ! An that he will bless you . because you are a blessing to his children the Israelites! I will bless those that bless you and I will curse those that curse you ! . Amen . happy hanukah merry Christ-mas and may our great God bless us everyone.
Like the Macabees, may we depend on God's strength to resist oppression in any form that seeks to destroy our relationship with God. I love Jews because God reached other nations through them. They are a blessing to humanity. Thanks for sharing this inspiring message.
God bless you for doing a simple explanation But yet give so much understanding. I hope christians and people realise If it wasn't for Hanukkah there would be no Yeshua today we would not have a Bible today, and salvation for people. And that's why its important to remember this miracle and celebrate.
For many Christians, this CAN be a step in the right direction - but if one stops with this, and keeps 'understanding' it (and everything else 'Jewish') within a Christian context and not the framework of Jewish Torah spirituality, you will never get on the path of deeper Torah learning. Ask yourself this, if you were a first century gentile who just heard about the God of the scriptures from one of Yeshua's emissaries, you would have been sent off to the local synagogue to continue your learning, (Acts 15:21). What do you think you would have learned there compared to any church today?
hanuka actually is an acronym - hanu (we fought) kah (on kaf hey / the 25th of the month kislev). At least that's what I learned in yeshiva growing up.
Praise BE TO GOD ....🕎 WE are a small Group of believers in SriLanka 🇱🇰 (Sinhalese to God ,Bridge to God ) faithful to god who dedicate to follow God's commandment. It's very delighted this HANUKA celibation time (December 2020) to practice for the first time.. We observe the 8 day ligting Menoras We are learning ,what is the rededication of the Temple after great victory won by a brave MACCIBI and miraculously lights the menora by God for 8 days. Haleluya .......🕎
There are other Jewish holidays to to celebrate like Rosh Hashanah (the Jewish New Year), Yom Kippur (fast for 25 hours, it's an anointment), Passover, and many more.
I learned something new today. This was an awesome video. Thank you for sharing it and explaining what Hanukkah is. I would really like to know more about some of the Jewish holidays like Hanukkah and how they are linked to my God and Savior, Christ Jesus.
Hello, I’m barely starting to learn about Hanukkah and if Jesus REALLY celebrated it. My guessing is that just because he went into the temple during that celebration once, does that mean he actually was partaking in that festival regularly ? Any help on that ?
Hey SheepDog! Sorry for such a late response. GREAT QUESTION! Here is a video we did on answering objections to Hanukkah that includes your question: ruclips.net/video/1nTf--Zn-SQ/видео.html
I celebrate Chanukah regardless if you should or could are two different questions and a matter of the heart, inspiration, and interests. Helps me keep the focus on Jesus.
And in homage and reverence to ELOHAI OLAM (The Everlasting God) let's also learn and begin to say the Hebrew transliterations instead of the Greek derivatives. YAHUAH ELOHAI (The Lord my God), YAHUSHA HA'MACHIACH (Jesus Christ-Salvation in the Messiah), and RUACH ELOHIYM (Holy Ghost)
I am 100% agnostic atheist, but I strongly encourage celebration during hard times (like winter). I celebrate Christmas and Hanukkah (without any super religious stuff) every year.
Thank you! I've left the pagan holidays behind, I'm a new Christian, and have been celebrating Hanukkah for about 5 years now, it's beautiful!

HalleluYah!!!!
This ministry has been, and continues to be such a blessing to our family!
Thank you. 🕊️🕎🕊️ So Hanukkah is the true Christmas!?!
Happy hanukkah
Thats why the Book of Maccabees is included in the Catholic Bible, in my opinion...
When does it start and end??
I celebrate Chanukah regardless if you should or could are two different questions and a matter of the heart, inspiration, and interests.
Helps me keep the focus on Jesus.
Beautiful
Ty for making it simple. 🙌🙌🙌🙏💖
As a Christian I have always wondered why we don’t celebrate Hanukkah
Great video. (The shirt is Ok!) Not so easy ti make christians celebrate this.

and RUACH ELOHIYM (Holy Ghost)
Hanukah is also very important and yes Christmas is important too but it's significant
But hanukkah is more bcoz xmas is not about christ bcoz christ are not born in winter nor in december 25..
I am not a Christian but I believe this man knows what he's told him to bed God bless him
I am 100% agnostic atheist, but I strongly encourage celebration during hard times (like winter). I celebrate Christmas and Hanukkah (without any super religious stuff) every year.
The church has been asleep for 2000 years. Time to wake up!
I wouldn't believe if Jesus said He is the light of the world during Hankkuah
VERY GOOD. It's funny too. Matt you are very expressive. It reminds me of former Democratic candidate Beto! You don't stand on table tops doing this.
500ish view and already controversial? Hell yeah I'll stay.
Already ahead of everyone. I already celebrate Hanukkah as a Christian.
