Swap the entire front clip from a 2015 STI and you got yourself an STI hatch. I dare someone do that...
Google it. Someone already swapped the front bumper, headlights, and fenders and people thought it was an actual 15 WRX hatch, which drove the hatch whores insane.

This thing is amazing. Love it man. Crosstrek body looks 10x better than the Impreza. Gonna dropped/bag my Hyper Blue Crosstrek soon.
crosstrek is like a hatchback Impreza SUV
Crosstrek is literally a raised Impreza. The size is exactly the same as the hatch but it looks bigger when it's raised. So it isn't an SUV since the dimensions are the same. But the Crosstrek has a slightly different body.

Please tell me what the purpose of paying more for the Crosstrek's extra clearance over the Impreza is when its the identical car (minus the added limited slip diff added to the rear axle on the Crosstrek) and then proceeding to lower it to about the same height as the Impreza? why not just save the $4,000 or so and buy the Impreza to begin with. I know the area I live in I had to get the Crosstrek because the Impreza scraped the ground horribly everytime I entered my driveway or drove on the roads in my town that are unmaintained (most of them....) This post is not to be taken in a harsh manor I am just genuinely curious.

in this case it makes no real difference but in the XV apparantly the 4wd system is a 50/50 system where the impreza is a 60/40 split engine is the same i believe apart from suspension its all the same the xv has slightly flared arches so can fit wider wheels
all current subaru cvt is 60/40

I have the same exact car. 2015 Subaru Impreza hatch. Oh the $4k I saved I put it into a Borla exhaust, invidia headers, and my mortgage. :)

Aside from lowering it and the custom wrap/rims what have you done to it?
Works wheels 18" 5x100 maybe? repainted the rims or oem but sprayed works logo.

- one of the reasons that I havent bought one is purely because of the looks.
But this has changed my mind, when and if I will buy one, Ille get it lowered.

Does anyone know if the 2016sti suspension fits on a 2018 Crosstrek. I have coilovers on my sti and I wanna get a Crosstrek. Would they fit?
Steve Ørnelas they will not fit, when I got my coilovers for my 16 Impreza they had accidentally sent them for the sti, the lower arm connection bolts won’t fit in the right areas. The coilovers for Impreza and Crosstrek are the same for year to year not sti to Impreza/Crosstrek

dude, why not just get an impreza and swap the bumpers and what not to get the same appearance? apparently money is no issue judging by the money spent to lower it and customize it. lol

he used it for offroad and he lowered it. so firts, impreza cant do offroad, and secondly, imprezas and crosstrek dont have the same look
