  • In today's video, I discuss the normal 9-to-5 grind and how changing my working hours has truly made me feel so much better.
I also discuss how I've changed my working hours to 9-to-6 to benefit my busy schedule, including my grad school and passion projects like RUclips.
I truly love it, tbh - being able to sleep in until 7 or wake up early and get other stuff done if I want.
I was 9 to 6 for about a year, then I switched to 8 to 5 and did not realize what a toll those hours took on me while I was doing so much - Grad school, paralegal certification, passion projects, etc.
Then, I discussed how the “norm” is for employees to use PTO to go do regular adult things that anyone who doesn't own a business or is self-employed does not have to do without their pay or vacation being deducted.
I also discussed how Daylight Savings ending truly is terrible since it makes employees leave in the dark and causes seasonal depression.

I think you are doing the best you can. The longer you do it the more you realize it’s just a routine. It never stops. 😊
