Thats so funny bc im in a similar phase. I JUST bumped annihilation and murderbot to the top of my queue bc i enjoyed becky chambers. And i was going to suggest her to you but you've already read apparently. Im big on atmosphere too so im a little nervous

Annihilation definitely has atmosphere, it was other parts of the book that were dragging for me. I hope Murderbot and Annihilation work for you!
