@@changyanwang1625 It is not surprising. Grubby was genuinely one of the best players of Warcraft 3 history, and one of the best non-koreans in Starcraft 2 for a few years. Love this duo
@@ppouta1216 I'm pretty sure if Grubby trains full time, he could become borderline pro level in a few months and take some games here and there against established players, though he probably couldn't win a Best of 5 or 7 right away. He already has pretty awesome micro skills from WC3, and he can boom like crazy thanks to SC2. Right now, he isn't used to AoE so can't multitask and tends to get tunnel visioned. Also, he doesn't understand the pros and cons of each unit and civilization and how to adjust eco and how to hit timings for certain builds, but you can see that all the basic RTS fundamentals are there, and he's already better than most of us will ever be at the fundamental mechanics of the game. If he trains hard, I wouldn't bet against him to be like Top 20 level in a couple years.

Used to play AOE all the time. Haven't played for 2 years and had pretty much decided not to play it in the future. But this video got me so hyped to play... Maybe I'll play again... Just maybe!
I like how Grubby, being a RTS pro but an AoE beginner, asks questions that are great to know the answer, but maybe I wouldn't have thought of them (being quite beginner in both WC3 online and AoE)
Well 2 more weeks and we will enjoy GL_Grubby with vipi, tatoh and the lord killing Hera and his friends :) Thanks 4 the content I've played AOE2 since 98 and I realy enjoy those vids. BR from berlin
damn looking good there viper, making that hairline work! Love these games with grubby very fun to watch, and slightly frustrating watching on his end watching someone with quite good rts skills make very questionable unit choices 😅
cuman mercenaries change is a buff, you can get 5 kıpçak for every castle including you didn't build yet. no longer limited to only 10 kıpçaks. also 32:34 humans don't have fully upgraded onagers, they are missing siege engineers

Grubby would get absolutely gobbled up by Hoang, lol. I think these days, thanks to RUclips and Twitch, everybody knows who Hoang is, but can you imagine being a pretty good player back in the day and climbing the ladder and not being too connected with the scene, Hoang comes out of nowhere, hit Castle Age when you're halfway through Feudal, and starts eating your TC? You'd be like, "WTF is this play style?" I think Grubby would love to see it, since he comes from more rush heavy RTS titles.

i think the problem with that is that grubbys role just becomes less significant, because viper and tati can beat most 3v3 teams
