    I know your no longer there. But what was the governed speed on lease trucks? And any idea how much the longnose petes are to lease?

    • @trucker_rob
      @trucker_rob  6 месяцев назад

      70 mph across the board on any lease truck.
      Hooded trucks were the same as freightliner.
      I’ll add a link that explains wfx pay and truck prices a week.

      If you go reefer it’s $1.31 + Fs. Roughly $1.70 a mile.
      All Truck payments are the same base pay a week $408 + .30 cents a mile.
      The more you drive the more they take.
      Also fuel is your biggest expense, their fuel discount sucks only .5 cents off pump price.
      Hope that helps.

    How do you slide your tandems

    • @trucker_rob
      @trucker_rob  Год назад

      I will make a video of this it’s pretty easy to do on modern trailers. Just pull red break valve inside truck and walk outside to trailer and pull pin or lever and the slide pins will retract, Walk back to truck and put truck in drive or reverse depending if your trying to move your tandem’s forward or backwards depending on your axle weights.

    Hey saw your videos on freymiller since I saw a job posting for drivers on LinkedIn and just wanted to get feedback and your opinion if it's worth working for them and how their attitude is towards foreign drivers applying for them. Your response would be greatly appreciated and congratulations on the new truck.

    • @trucker_rob
      @trucker_rob  Год назад

      Are you referring to working at western flyer xpress or freymiller?
      Freymiller isn’t a bad company, I just sat around a lot recently. The miles were low and the pay was decent if you had miles.
      Western flyer xpress is too soon for me to say anything because I’ve only been here 2 weeks, I like it so far. But as always there will be some more videos coming.

      @@trucker_rob thanks I was referring to freymiller, I saw they were posting for new drivers not lease(I think) but for company drivers, so would it be worth it to work for them?

      @@tybanks23 $1.31 + fuel surcharge. Currently I make $1.75. Weekly payments is $308 fixed costs and .23 cpm for truck payment + .07 cpm for truck maintenance = .30 cpm on top of $308 fixed costs.

      You will have to do some pay stubs videos after a few weeks I almost went to Freymiller but after your videos I didn’t and I’m looking for a good company to lease with and do they pay 100% of the fuel surcharge

    Hey not asking figures but are they keeping you moving with good paying freight? I had actually looked into working with them I am currently at Hunt regional.

    • @trucker_rob
      @trucker_rob  Год назад +1

      I have a video coming out later this week covering this. Short answer is they are very good on keeping you moving. I usually have my next preplan before I make my delivery a day in advance. I’m averaging 2k, 2.6k miles a week or 2 to 3 loads a week just how it turns out. I wish it was more because were all in it for the money but sometimes you take it how it’s comes. It will all add up over a month.
